Brilliant product!

Brilliant product; I love my glasses!!! I have had no issues with this company since placing my first order back in September for a pair of glasses and three toppers. Everything was shipped in a reasonable timeframe, well packaged, and delivered to me in the UK. An item I ordered had not been received, so I contacted customer services and the missing item was sent out to me. Since my first order I have placed a further two orders of additional toppers. I have received so many comments on my glasses that I do not regret buying them at all, and they are a great conversation starter!!!

Took forever to get them and when I…

Took forever to get them and when I finally did the toppers fall off because of the magnets not being strong enough! They need to put stronger magnets on these! I barely wear them because I am constantly having to pick my toppers off of the floor! I am just so disappointed with this company.

Ordered a pair of glasses and two…

Ordered a pair of glasses and two toppers in August. I like the glasses however the toppers are not good and their customer service is terrible. Non existent. They sent one topper and the other one backordered. This was in August. Now October and still not received. I reached out to them and after a week they now tell me the topper cannot be supplied and they send me a $25 gift card. I paid $35 for the topper. What kind of company works like that! Normally if they can’t support they refund. So 2 days ago I said I don’t want the gift card money back please. Still no response! Hard NO don’t do it with this company. Really bad.

Great product with a couple of logistics issues.

I have ordered twice from Pair now - initial order with a couple of toppers and then another order with more toppers.

What I Like:
The virtual try-on aspect, the range or tops, getting a base sorted and the price (a pair of glasses costs me what a base and 10 toppers costs me, as a reference). The range of toppers is also fantastic.

What I Don't Like:
While the customer service team is responsive, unless you're about to complain, they can be dismissive of any concerns and be a bit too scripted. For example, my first order never updated once it was sent for delivery and I never received any tracking details. I only found out after I asked again where my order was at. When I pointed out that my order never showed it was being delivered, the agent apologised and said that it was likely missed and would get sorted. Two months later and it's still not showing delivered. While it's trivial, there's no point continually pointing customers to your tracking if it doesn't work.

For my second order, I did get sent tracking details. Problem is, they don't tell you that once it reaches Australia, they use DAI Post to finish the delivery locally, not DHL. DAI take a week minimum to deliver, even though it's in the same state. Their tracking has no option to give you alerts and the day it says its out for delivery, it's a 50/50 that you'll get it that day.

Update 13/10/24 - I actually got my order today, so I was surprised they delivered on a Sunday. I also got a confirmation of delivery a couple of hours later, so that's an improvement. But when I do another order, I'll continue to update if this is consistent.

Update 2/11/24 - I ordered another set of toppers a few days after my last review as a new set dropped. I feel like the experience is getting better - got the tracking details in a timely manner and DAI delivered it the day they said it was out for delivery. My account still shows that all three orders are out for delivery, and DAI only updates the delivery status of 'completed' many hours after its been delivered. I'm hovering between a 3.5 and 4 rating based on this latest experience.

Update 13/05/2025 - so I've now ordered quite a few times because I really do like the designs and it's a fun product. I've definitely seen improvements with delivery from DAI. The introduction of Rewards in Australia is definitely a value add. I'm almost at 5 stars for overall experience, but I want to wait a bit longer to see if it's consistent.

Great customer service

This company has amazing customer service. Return policy is incredible which is so great as you can’t physically try on the glasses. I will be ordering again and again. So happy with my experience.

If you are not from the US don't bother…

If you are not from the US don't bother to order from them, it would be faster for you to go to the USA and have the glasses hand-crafted than receive it from them. Order placed on the 30th and I'm still chasing them which are escaping with the classical 24h to 48h excuse.
The customer service contradicts each other and the information is vague, I will wait 24 to 48 hours more but if no information is provided I will ask for a refund.

Top Frames Fall Off

I have waited a little while before doing this review. I love my glasses. My prescription was very accurate and I have progressive lenses. My only complaint is that the top frames pop off easily if you barely even bump them. My sunglasses topper fell off into the water when I was standing on a dock and I was not able to recover them. My husband even put on his mask and snorkel and still couldn't find them. I guess the sand covered them and could not be found. I had no other sunglasses, so I could barely stand out in the sun. I have other toppers that easily could have been lost after they are barely bumped. I will order a new topper and hopefully this one will stay on.

If your not an USA customer AVOID

This is what happened to me. I placed my order and paid. I was not asked for my PD measurement, and our lab would need this in order to complete my Pair/ order while I was filling in my order.

I got an email after I placed and paid, asking for the measurements. I uploaded this information via reply to email.
I then was that ny prescription falls outside of the range for single-vision stock lenses, but we can absolutely still make them with our Premium Plus ultra-thin lenses add-on, which costs an additional $59.

I couldn't just pay the additional amount, as I'm not a USA customer, that the whole order needed to be cancelled and refunded.
I had refund confirmation 16/08/24. I still have not received my money back.
I have sent 2 emails chasing up my refund and submitted 1 online form. I've been told
"already processed the cancellation and refund to your original payment method on file to the card ending **** yesterday. Please wait for at least 3-7 business days for the amount to appear on your bank statement. You may also contact your bank regarding this matter to confirm from their end."

Horrendous shipping times and a very…

Horrendous shipping times and a very shady expedited add ons that they dont honor. This company has been processing my order since july 17th and yet to ship. They are eager to throw there absolutely ridiculous expedited shipping add ons in your face and then dont honor them by telling you that does not include their lab processing time. Zero communication or help with these issues. Stay away. You could order from wish or alibaba have it get lost and found again and it would still arrive before your pair eyeware. Their lab and shipping department moves slower than a snail dipped in molasses climbing a mountain.

Can't fault my first experience

Reviews seem mixed, but i cannot fault the service i received while trying to get my first pair.
First issue that cropped up was that the photo of my prescription wasnt usable as it wasnt signed. so they emailed me, and offered to put my order on hold while i got a signed prescription organised. As soon as i sent them the prescription my order was process and shipped well within the 2-5 business days specified on the website
The second issue was that the package seemed to be stuck at customs. I emailed them to look in to it, as at this point it had been at customs for about a week. They said give it a few days, if it still doesnt arrive, let them know and they will process a replacement. The pair never arrived so i messaged them and the replacement order was placed, free of charge, within the day (shout out to Merilie for her amazing help!) a few days later, the tracking udated for the original pair, and they did eventually arrive (Typical!). i emailed them to see what they wanted me to do with the replacement, which they would like returned (i was hoping for a cheeky free pair, but oh well, lol)
They fit really well. i used the online PD app they provide, as my opticians wouldnt do it, and they are the perfect tightness, enough to stay on, but not so much that it starts to hurt the sides of my head
The base pair also feel quite sturdy, defintely more sturdy than my previous pair from glasses direct (No hate to them, their pair lasted me 2 years, and the only reason i didnt rebuy is because i couldnt find the same pair, and none of the others suited me)
I ordered plain black sun tops with the base pair, and its sooo much more convinient than having to full swap normal glasses for prescription sunglasses. I had seen reviews that the tops dont stay on with alot of movement, but the only real issue ive come across is when i push my glasses up, if im to aggressive with it or do it in the wrong place, then the topper slips, but i've not had it fall off yet.
Ive just ordered by first 3 toppers, and i cant wait to get customizing. i hope they bring more gothic/edgy styles in the future (hint, hint, Pair)

Absolutely amazing customer service team!

Absolutely brilliant customer service. I love the idea of being able to change colour or design of my glasses and was always jealous kids could get really cool specks! So I was jumping for joy when I saw these advertised on Facebook! And even happier to discover they have a Mickey Mouse range!! Ordered straight away, I had issues with customs but they sorted that straight away, I don’t like the shape of the glasses on my face and they have sorted my exchange for a different pair! Very very happy with this company (also no issues with the vision like others have mentioned! Perfectly clear and 20/20 vision while wearing!!) hopefully my new pair are a better fit and I’ll be coming back for more toppers! Thank you pair (especially Erika)!!

I have not actually received my order…

I have not actually received my order yet. I placed the order over 2 weeks ago. When I ordered, luckily I took a screenshot of the order confirmation because that was all I had to go off of. No email confirmation, no tracking number, nothing. I called them today and they said they had emailed me twice even though I have yet to receive anything from them. They confirmed the email they have on file and it is correct yet I received nothing. They said they never completed the order because they needed more information from me 🤦🤦 So why did your checkout process tell me I was done and give me a confirmation number if you needed more information? And if the first two emails went unanswered, why didn't you call? You have my phone number on file. It's funny you made damn sure you got that credit card information right Cuz you had no problem charging it even though apparently someone couldn't pick up the damn phone and call me to tell me my order wasn't complete. I'm wondering if I had not called them, would they have just kept the money indefinitely and given up? Probably. 1⭐

I love my pair glasses

I love my pair glasses! I’ve been wearing glasses since my teenage years and they always look so bad, I felt less confident with them. I tried many brands and frames over the years. I can’t believe a pair of glasses from an online store would look this good! I actually like to wear my glasses now lol they are very lightweight and thin but I can see perfectly, I also love my shades. Hopefully they will last for a long time!

The sad thing is

The sad thing is, I love my glasses. I have a ton of tops for my base frames. I don't want to think of how much money I've spent over the last few years. Their marketing emails were already irritating me because they kept emailing me telling me I'd forgotten to order base frames. I've been a customer for a few years, my orders are placed under my account often with members rewards points yet I'm getting emails like I've never ordered before? Now they ran a promo for buy 4 get one free Stars Wars tops 2 days after I placed a qualifying order and well before my order ships. I reach out to what passes for customer service only to get a nonsensical scripted response two days later. When I responded to their reply pointing out that what they replied with didn't address my email at all they sent another nonsensical form response. Wow! Pair obviously needs to be bought out by someone who gives a damn!

No thanks

Great idea, but its hard to order and get the right distance between eyes, or where the prescription goes. The customer service is not good. I bought a second pair to go with my tops. They came bent and askew AND had the prescription in one tiny area away from where one looks through the glasses. They only gave me a partial refund! I will not use them again. THe ONLY thing they have going is the magnetic tops.

Just plain greedy

First off each pair should come with one free pair of magnetic clip ons. No one should have to pay extra for sun comfort. I think it's just gross to charge for a 1 year warranty. Some of us are not made out of money and need to see. $90 for the glasses and one clip on is just disgusting. $40 to $60 for both is reasonable. $30 for each clip on? Seriously Icky. $10 makes more sense. No amount of ads in shoved down my throat will change my opinion.
