Great support

Recently one of the servers I had purchased for Oxide fell victim to a cyber-attack (which was not Oxide's fault). They contacted me and where extremely reasonable and explained the situation incredibly well to someone (myself) who has never had this happen to them before. Once again thank you to the Oxide team and all that you do for your customers. I highly recommend them and have and will be using them for all my needs.

Decently priced and good for beginners

I ordered a VPS so I can run a fivem server and it was very easy to setup. If you’re gonna start any type of game server I recommend when ordering asking for Pterodactyl to be preinstalled as it’s and it makes it super easy to install mods and manage your server. Their support is very quick to respond to incidents and problems.

This hosting is not only a hosting

This hosting is not only a hosting, it's much more than that! I was struggling to get funds for a vps I had purchased a couple month's back and I thought that my server was going to be deleted, bit I told the ceo Nicholas about my situation and he post phoned it to a date that I was getting payed, this man is a legend and a wonderful person and all of his services are extremely cheap and extremely reliable, and I would definitely recommend using oxide hosting as your server hosting provider!

Oxide Hosting is a great Hosting!

Oxide Hosting is a great Hosting Company I have been using them for a couple months now. There's never really downtime if I have a issue they get to it right away Jack W. and Nicholas W. is always very professional and helpful! I would rate this company a 11/10 if I could. No refunds at all

I purchased 2 servers from them. After buying the first one, I realized that it does not suit me because of the small amount of RAM. After that, I took the second one, having previously canceled the first one. In the second one, I was missing 2 cores and I decided to make a refund for both of them. The website says that they have a 24-hour refund policy. Opened a request <12 hours after the purchase of servers. But I never received any refund. They demand screenshots from you about the lack of performance, and if you provide them with them, they say that they are inaccurate and the data must be measured by a special program that they will tell. Of the 2 servers, I did not receive a refund for not one of them. Never in my life have I seen such a disregard for customers

Apologies we couldn't meet your expectations this time around, I'll clarify a few details within this reply and means in which you can reach out again should this reply be of any use to you.

In terms of the first service with 'insufficient memory'; as the service was cancelled as per your request, this was executed automatically; hence the service was already terminated. The team offered a redeployment of the service and that offer still remains should you wish for that (or combination of the services to deliver something which will meet your needs).

In terms of the second service, all our plans are deployed automatically so 'missing cores' is nearly impossible, we haven't had any information about this so far hence if you could provide this to us either within your original ticket (#BA198135) or via a new one, we could investigate this further.

In terms of the actual policy itself, as per our Terms of Service; we do request more details about a refund so we can better understand the reasons and any technical issues which may have occurred to allow for either a resolution for yourself or at least future customers. In terms of the screenshots requested, the teams offered a wide range of options of industry standard software; the one provided is often simply too regularly inaccurate for us to investigate further. It wasn't specifically we needed a set software, we needed something from within the server itself rather than outside of the server.

We would clarify also; our Terms of Service is the only place in which a refund policy is displayed so it can be fully clarified in terms of it's limitations; this is what the team followed when handling this case (https://oxide.host/terms-of-service, section 2.0). In summary, if you wish to allow us a second chance to either redeploy the first service; combine the both, or allow a proper investigation into the issue(s) mentioned, we will be happy to do so.

In terms of responding to this issue should you wish to, we'll create a new ticket for you so you can correspond about this reply should any details which has now been clarified be useful to you. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Best support team

oxide.host support is amazing!

After a month of using them, my server started getting random DDoS attack, I contacted them, and they respond really really fast, and we're able to quickly help me solve, identify, mitigate these DDoSes attack.

They offer 200 mbps unlimited…

They offer 200 mbps unlimited bandwidth, but if you use too much they will slow the upload to 50 mbps without letting you know. This behavior is also not listed in the fair use policy.

edit: got this reply from them:
"From reviewing the case further, I can see the priority was automatically reduced by our systems to manage congestion on this hostsystem due to the port speed being a shared resource.
As previously mentioned, we don't guarantee a particular port speed; it wasn't reduced due to bandwidth usage overall but rather to simply manage congestion and provide a fair service for all.

As this machines remains busy, we're not able to change the priority of the service and the port speed will return to normal once it's able to do so but have no estimates for this.
We do not advertise any of our port speeds as guaranteed and this is further clarified in our Terms of Service; we can try relocating your service if you wished but this doesn't guarantee anything."

An overall good experience

Some of the best value for money with the lower end vps's, yet amazing support.
It's great to be able to have an actual chat with the guys when something goes wrong, rather then only an automated email / chatbot. Albiet site does feel slugish to navigate.

As an update following our conversation regarding this complication, we've had further issues with other addresses on the subnet impacted so we've withdrawn the affected IPv4 range (since it was only allocated last night to us) and we'll get this resolved with the provider or get a new range assigned. We've never had a particular range cause issues like this before hence this wasn't tested for during our usual validation checks but we'll introduce this from now on with new IPv4 subnets allocated. Either way, in your case; glad everything now is functioning as expected on the replacement service and hopefully everything should continue to work as intended. Thank you for recommending us also.
