An unsatisfactory, unreliable and frustrating experience with negligible customer support other than a matrix of online fault finding suggestions with no mechanism for making complaints. If you can’t complain, then I guess there are no complaints, a good concept, just like its product (only at concept)
Avoid this product and stick to the well developed and robust products of the fitness watch range…. This product will fail and fail big just at the warranty expiry… a review of their own website is always a wash of open product issues
Oura is a game-changer!
First of all, the Oura Ring is phenomenal! That said, it seems like an expensive item. There is a subscription. I'll argue that it is worth knowing how you are doing health-wise, and its sleep monitor is very accurate! The customer service is the reason I will be a lifelong customer. I had a problem with the battery health. They quickly diagnosed the problem and swiftly replaced my ring! This, to me, is exceptional customer service!

Fantastic Experience
Had my Oura 4 about 8 months and it stopped connecting not able to give sleep data.
Chris at Oura checked the stats and within minutes began the process of sending me a new ring along with 3 months of free subscription.
Chris was very professional and apologetic for the issue. I came away very appreciative and happy that Oura backs their product and takes care of the customer.

I truly couldn’t be happier with my experience! I absolutely love my Oura ring and have convinced several of my colleagues to get one as well. So when my battery stopped working after 2 years, I was definitely disappointed—and honestly a bit worried that I might have recommended something that wouldn’t hold up over time.
That said, I’m beyond thrilled with how quickly James stepped in and made things right—far exceeding my expectations! It completely turned the situation around. Thank you again! I feel 100% confident continuing to recommend your product.
Accurate Tracking Without Complications
I’ve been using the Oura Ring Gen 4 and the experience has been consistently positive. The sleep tracking feels accurate, the readiness insights are easy to understand, and the ring is comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing it. The app is clean and stable, and the data presentation is straightforward. It’s not a dramatic reinvention, but it delivers exactly what it promises — reliable health tracking without complications.
Service magic
Service magic. I have had an Oura ring for over 8 years and occasionally needed customer service. It has always been great service. I am now overwhelmed by how good (even magical) the CS has become.
I’m telling everyone. The process was so seamless it barely felt like a typical service interaction. It was so fast, technically clear, and resolved. It was more like speaking with an old friend who knew exactly what you needed. Well done!
The issue was an unexplained reduction in battery life. Interrogating the ring from its base took only seconds. Verified via email or app. System noted the battery health was off, and a new ring is being shipped.
Battery Issue Resolved Quickly
After a few years of only using my Gen 3 ring during sleep, the ring was still working fine but the battery was acting up and I wouldn't get data when the battery did a quick drain. I used the ouraring chatbot feature (Finn) in their Help Center, and they looked into my account and battery and noticed a problem. I was offered $100 off of the Gen 4 ring which I took and now have the Gen 4. This help feature was quick to resolve my problem.

So far, support is the worst I can remember experiencing from any electronics device company.
My wife ordered a ring and followed the prompts to prematurely pay for a years’ worth of the required membership.
Oura sent her the wrong color ring so she sent it back for a refund, allowing her to reorder the correct ring…there is no option for an exchange.
We have since learned that her membership is attached to the specific ring she has already returned and now she cannot complete the steps to cancel her membership for a refund because it was never activated with the ring that has already been sent back.
Where is Oura’s service in all of this…radio silence!!
There is no phone number to call; however, you can schedule a call with Oura’s customer service team (an arrangement in which Oura’s customer service team is supposed to call you at a designated time). My wife scheduled a call with Oura’s customer service team but they did not call at the designated time…in fact, they never called.
So, we are left with a terrible chat bot service model that can’t service anything more than three predesigned scenarios.
We are more than likely out the annual membership fee and I am not even confident we will receive a refund for the ring we returned.
