🚩 RED FLAG #1: I purchased an Origin Hybrid mattress in September 2025. Within nine months of completely normal household use, it developed extensive scorching and discolouration across a large area of the surface — after using nothing more than a standard Dreamland heated mattress cover during winter. The exact same brand of cover I've used on previous mattresses for years without a single issue.

🚩 RED FLAG #2: When I raised a formal complaint under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Origin sent me the SAME scripted denial THREE TIMES. Every single reply ignored my actual legal claim and instead hid behind warranty exclusions and a 200-night trial period — neither of which applied to my case. Not once did they provide any actual evidence: no inspection, no assessor, no explanation, nothing. Just "external/accidental damage" repeated like a broken record, no matter what I said back.

🚩 RED FLAG #3: Zero accountability. Zero investigation. Zero willingness to engage with a legitimate, well-documented consumer rights claim.
I no longer trust the quality of this product or this company, full stop. I'm not asking for a replacement — I want nothing more to do with this brand. I'm now pursuing a refund through my bank instead, because Origin made it abundantly clear they will not do the right thing voluntarily.
If you're thinking about buying from Origin: know exactly what you're risking. If anything goes wrong, this is the treatment you'll get.

What's particularly concerning is their 15-year warranty If this is how they handle a straightforward quality issue within the first year — with zero investigation, scripted denials, and refusal to engage — what confidence can you possibly have that they'll honour that "15-year Warranty" if something goes wrong down the line? Their handling of my complaint suggests their warranty is more marketing than protection.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Delivery very good. As we are both light weights we found the mattress a bit firm, but this was easily sorted by adding our existing mattress topper. It does mean that we've lost the cooling effect and it's rather tall but overall now very comfortable.

Delivery was quick and well informed. Mattress is comfortable. Great overall service.

Hybrid pro matteress is super comfy..and little softer than firm but the teenager sleeping on it, loves it. Ordered and delivered in two days. Good quality and worth spending that little bit more for a quality product.

I got my mattress delivered, its not as comfortable as te review says, the pillows are not soft, my neck sometimes hurt and the return process is dodgy. The customer care representative did not accept the return process even though they promised 200 days trial and freereturn

My matress never arrived despite the courier saying they would contact me within 48 hours to arrange delivery nothing happened I contacted origin who apologised and gave me 5percent discount fast forward a month and a few more emails sent still no matress finally an email.this morning offering another 5percent off if I will wait another 1 possibly 2 months if not I can have a refund . I opted for a refund but have had no response to my emails worried as the second payment on klarna is due out of my bank account tomorrow.

I bought 2 origin mattress one for daughter and one for myself.Daughter she loves mattress said very comfortable.But me didn't like mattress to firm for me ,I like more soft mattress.Contact origin mattress company they collect mattress and refund money next day.Very good company, had no problems!!!

From the purchase,to delivery,there were no problems.
Although,it may seem a bit firm at first,it soon becomes,so comfortable...I suffer from H/eds and Fybro +arthritis and a load of other problems between us and to now have such a comfortable sleep and wake with very little aches.
The latex pillows are way better than memory foam for me.
Our daughter lay on ours and decided to buy herself a mattress from Origin!!
As for the 'smell' when unpacked,there may have a minor smell,if it was,it didn't last long!!!
Highly recommended for anybody who wants or needs a really really nice sleep..
