Origin Mattress UK Reviews 

We were excited when we ordered our mattress which arrived fairly quickly but that soon wore off as the mattress was very uncomfortable more uncomfortable than our old mattress. I’ve never had issues with my back, but woke up several times thee first night, unable to move due to the back pain I had to slowly roll over to just try and reposition. I wanted to return it immediately but after discussing it with my partner she said give it week or two to maybe get use to it. The sleepless nights and back pain continued onto to weeks two so I resorted to sleeping on the sofa. At this point the mattress started to sag on my side and I’m hardly a big guy weighing 82kg and so much for not being able to feel your partner move as the slightest movement from each other could be felt, the pillows were like resting your head on a 24 variety pack of crisps rustling in your ear all night, 3 weeks in and the mattress showed clear indents us both now, not what I expected for the nearly £1000 price tag! I contacted Origin which took days for a reply, they asked me to take photos of each side of the mattress as well as top and bottom before they could process the return, not so much a no hassle “no quibble return” this mattress is very heavy I can’t see many people especially the elderly managing to do that, they responded two days later asking for another photo of a white ticket which was located underneath so again I had to wrestle with the mattress to take a picture. Eventually they processed my return and arranged a date for collection and told me to have the mattress read, did I want to keep the pillows as they could deduct £196 from my refund in which I replied “I didn’t want to keep them as they were noisy” and “I thought they were a free gift” which I was told they were no longer a gift as the mattress was being returned. I had the mattress ready and the pillows bagged up and shrunk wrapped to the mattress as instructed. Two weeks later the courier arranged a date with a between 8-2 in which took the day off work, they called me to say they were 45 minutes away and was the mattress ready, I said “yes it is as instructed by Origin, the pillows are packaged no lose items” the courier asked for a photo so I sent them a photo, he called me back and said the mattress isn’t packaged in which I explained it’s ready exactly as Origin told me. He told me he’d call back and hung up, I heard nothing past 2 o’clock so I called the courier with no answer so I called there office, they told me that the collection had been cancelled as the mattress wasn’t packaged in which I replied it’s ready as I’ve been instructed I sent the courier photos and also a screen shot from Origin explaining exactly how the the mattress should be ready and all they said was it’s not packaged and they wouldn’t collect until it was. I was fuming at this point and contacted Origin who then offered me a discount to keep the mattress which I refused, they then said they’d investigate with there delivery partner a rearrange collection. Now I’m assuming the whole “no quibble return 200 night trial” is all a ploy to put people off pursuing a return if they’re not happy with it because it is a nightmare from start to finish. Only nice thing I can say about the mattress was it looked modern. Save your time and money, the mattress is uncomfortable, cheaply made and loses shape very quickly, I’ve had better nights sleep on the sofa. I’ve now purchased another branded mattress for a similar price I’ve had no back ache like I did with the Origin one…

I would say the mattress is 3.5 stars but rounded up to 4* due to my backache more or less disappearing! But there is two things that have lost a star. 1. The mattress bulges out at the sides. Always has since I got it and I'm only petite so it isn't due to my weight. 2. The fitted sheet I put on it slides all over due to the material of the mattress. I can't seem to stop it from doing it.

Never had such a good nights sleep till i slept on one of your mattresses , will certainly recommend you to my friends and family .

I own the lumbarcloud and is the best mattress I ever had, is sooo comfortable I honestly recommend to anyone who suffers for back pain.

Mattress came apart at the seems and then was told it would be replaced as a gesture of goodwill! Not under the warranty, sent pictures to show it was like it in multiple areas of the mattress but still the same answer. Sent it back under the 200 night policy or whatever the number is, glad to send it back, wasn’t worth the money, cheaper Simba is far more comfortable

At first glance Origin Mattress UK looks all good. They've certainly paid good money for the advertising and marketing, but UK? I don't think so.
All contact has to be done via email, no phone numbers and don't expect a same day reply.
The product itself was ok. We were looking for a firm mattress and their flagship product seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately after about a month we decided it was a bit too soft if anything so we exercised our right to return. All pretty good so far. I also have to give the firm credit for paying me about 10% refund for failing to deliver on the date promised (they offered 5% but were ok with my counter suggestion of 10%).
However, when we decided to return it they wanted a bit of detail and pictures (which is reasonable) one of the items they wanted a picture of was the fire safety label......ours didn't have one and they funnily enough didn't question this. The refund was duly processed and sent to my bank, minus the late delivery refund and £59 removal fee (not mentioned anywhere in the marketing bumf) They also wanted their free pillows back or I could keep them for £95 each!!! They got them back. Having paid way over the top for one of their mattress protectors already I didn't think a short £200 for a set of pillows was really worth it.
All that glistens isn't gold.

My old mattress been picked up, but new one hasnt arrived. Now Im forced to sleep with my toddler on the floor. Cant contact anyone immediatly. After spending 1.3k its frustraiting and not what I was expecting.
