Been with openfix for a few years after 30 years with BG ! Apart from having to “ remind “ them about my annual service , no problems. Had a breakdown over winter it was fixed promptly.

Really poor communication. The boiler and gas safety certificate are due for renewal on my rental property and I requested that the allocated engineer contact the tenant directly to arrange this, for the tenants convenience. I accept that they could not make contact with the tenant which turned out to be because they were out of the country however, none of my emails to the company were responded to and none of the emails to the engineers company were responded to either. My tenant upon returning home called the engineers company and was told she could not arrange the service without my permission!! Given I had already done this, it was frustrating for both me and the tenant. This was the first time I have had any need to communicate with openfix since taking out the policy but needless to say I am not impressed with the poor communication and customer service thus far. I can only hope it gets better!

I cannot comment on overall service as I have only just taken out the cover. It was nice to actually speak with customer serve and all my questions were answered. Easy to set up and competitive price.

I had no hot water for over a week the engineer wasn’t good at responding to my calls/texts, he eventually did the job satisfactorily but customer service/communication wasn’t great and over a week for an emergency job…thankfully we were in the middle of a hot spell and cold showers were just bearable

Very happy with the engineer who came to service boiler, he sorted out all the wrong doings I had done which had messed it up a bit.
He was very polite, tidy and efficient.
Would recommend your company anyone who wanted boiler coverage

Never works, every engagement feels like it's a scam, they never actually do anything. I have mentioned this to customer services and they also do zip.
And their response here is just typical. Boilerplate .... Spend more time to contact them? Silly
