I got this insurance policy 2 months…

I got this insurance policy 2 months ago my car had low cylinder pressure and head number three with a bent head I drove it a mile and a half to a mechanic shop where cut off at of course taking it to the mechanic shop and letting the mechanic look at it it shut off and of course it burnt the head gasket because it was sitting there running so he can see what was wrong with it without putting it on diagnostic first and they denied fixing my engine because they said the head gasket due to overheating well common Sense the head gasket is going to burn due to overheating if the cylinder head is bent just like any insurance company they're going to deny the best they can but they want you to keep up payment month to month but yet this happened on the 14th and it took him till the 27th to get somebody out to inspect it and then they're going to tell me it was due to overheating yes it was overheating the engine broke they said if you see a light come on you should stop and call a tow truck who in the world start to call a tow truck every time I like comes on on the car and I know 95% of America you had your engine light your brake light your tire sensor light some kind of light come on so that means stop and call the tow truck if you don't see nothing else happening and I did what was best and I went straight to a mechanic shop and I have all the proof of everything but let you know I would not waste my money with this company because they're going to deny you for the slightest thing they can do

I understand why you feel frustrated, but the situation you’re describing is exactly what is meant by continued operation of an impaired vehicle.

When a vehicle is overheating, it is not comparable to a routine warning light like a tire sensor light. An overheating condition is an immediate and severe mechanical issue. Even driving a very short distance, such as a mile to a mile and a half, while the engine temperature is elevated can rapidly escalate internal damage.

It’s important to clarify that overheating itself does not automatically result in cylinder head or head gasket failure. Those types of failures typically occur when the vehicle continues to run while already in an overheated state. In other words, the damage is not caused simply by the initial issue, but by operating the vehicle after that condition has presented itself.

For that reason, industry standards, and the terms of most service contracts, require that the vehicle be shut down immediately when overheating is observed, and transported to a repair facility. This is because continued operation, even briefly, can turn a manageable issue into a catastrophic engine failure.

Based on your description, the vehicle was driven and allowed to continue running while overheating, which is the determining factor in how the failure is categorized.

This company isn’t what they say they are to customers.

This company isn’t what they say they are. How about that. Turn in automobile and after three maybe four months this company turns down the repairs that should’ve been done. How can they say they cover the powertrain but then don’t cover specific part within the powertrain. If the parts wasn’t present the powertrain would not work. Now make that make sense.
Just not right. What good is this? Paying several months for service;then when one need this to have a repair they do all in their power to make it not compatible.

I no longer have Omega after being a customer for 3 years. Omega had been giving me full coverage then they changed to 1/2 coverage because my vehicle is a 2001. They failed me tremendously after being a loyal
customer with full benefits. When I renewed they gave me half coverage, so I canceled you guys for a service that would accommodate

This company lies to you about coverage

if you got duped into purchasing a policy with this shithole company call immediatley and cancel your fake policy. i was told verbatim(that means word for word for the idiots) that oil changes/brake pads and shoes/battery replacement and fluid maintenance was covered. I already had a warranty and i was persuaded by this company to get an additional warranty under the impression that those things were covered. After months of payments I went to the dealership and watched the representative call this company after presenting my certificate that says in print oil changes/brake pads are covered. He looks at me mid phone call and says to me 'you know you will have to pay out of pocket for the service today?' After he gets off the phone with this joke of a company he proceeds to tell me they will do a customer reimbursement for the service and they will only cover $100 of the brakes. Absolutely 100% false advertisement.

Waste of money

Not even willing to pay complete cost of mechanic labor for needed parts. Paid almost 4k for policy and theyre only willing to pay 1.4k out of 2.8k needed to fix my pickup. Insisting that I use low quality used parts rather than recommended ford parts for my bearings and iwe switch. I'd even called before hand to make sure that my problem was covered. I need my truck back ASAP and now I'm out of more money

Omega has bailed me out of a few jams…

Omega has bailed me out of a few jams with my car that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise. However, not all parts are covered in the manual. Had to have my turbo replaced and then a boost censor that is required for the turbo and car overall to shift right, needed to be replaced. The book mentions NOTHING about a censor anywhere. So I'm on the hook for replacing it. They word the coverage in a very sneaky way so they do not have to cover as much. The maintenance contract is a joke. It only covers a very tiny portion of what some of the maintenance costs like $40 towards a coolant flush that costs about $150. It is definitely convenient to have when major repairs are needed and you only have to pay the deductible if said repair is covered. When the dealership submits a claim, it takes moving mountains to get a hold of anyone helpful. Had my car sitting for awhile and shelled out $500 for a rental. They have a special clause for FL, but I still only got minimum reimbursement. The most helpful person I have worked with doesn't even work for Omega directly, but for Repair Banc who is the selling agent of the policy. Except for her, those people are shady. I had coverage and got a call from someone who said my coverage lapsed only to sell me a duplicate policy at a high price. When trying to work to cancel it, he hung up on me and we had to dispute the charges. Perhaps Omega might want to pay closer attention to those selling their policies.
I am glad to have my policy because of the major repairs that were covered but Omega needs to put more clear indication of what is covered and what is not. Like the censor. The coverage booklet mentions not one censor so how are they going to tell me it isn't covered when it doesn't say one way or the other. Not even an offer for partial coverages. Luckily the dealership had a loaner so I didn't have to shell out another $500 for a rental. Perhaps I should have researched other companies first. So, at this time, I'm impartial and just eh about Omega.

This is for Omega to help train their employees.

I received a notice in the mail to contact them. The notice had no explanation for the notice. When I called the guy on the other line couldn't find the Record ID number and said, "I'm not sure if you are purposefully reading it to me wrong or what..." He was rude, unprofessional and argumentative. I asked, if I could review the documents prior to paying the initial cost and he said they couldn't do it. I asked how long this offer is valid for and he said, "until the end of this call". After I told him, I wouldn't pay for something if I can't review the agreement first. He became more adjugated and argumentative. I spoke to them on 3/9/2026 at 3:18pm MST. Hopefully this company can provide more training on Customer Service.

Cannot express my dissapointment

Cannot express my dissapointment with this company and their coverage. Purchased warrenty for my used truck at the dealer. Took it into the shop, waited 2 weeks for them too get back to the shop. After 2 weeks turns out an oil pan gasket, and a coolant leak get denied because of the truck having a leveling kit installed on it?? Any other warrenty could use their "2 eyes" and see that is the stupidest excuse ever as it has nothing to do with the engine on my truck. Horrible customer service as well I waited on the phone for 30mins the first time and just to check and make sure everything was covered which they said it would be. I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT BUY THIS WARRENTY!!

They kept denying claim.

They kept denying my claim, first they said they would cover the cost of my repair and to take it to Toyota, when I took it to Toyota, the dealership couldn't get in contact with them they were placed on hold for over 45 mins, after 2 days of trying to get through they finally reached someone and was told someone would call him back, they didn't call back meanwhile my car say at Toyota for a week and 3 days. When they finally reached someone they denied the claim. I tried to call them to see why they told me it was covered and to take it to Toyota and then deny the claim. This company is garbage and I was cheated out of $3,000 of monthly payments and only used the free oil change once because it came with one oil change, and the other claim I filed was denied. They warranty gaureenteed me they would cover my car up untill 2 years or when the car had reached over 180,000 which ever came first. I only needed to use the claim once during the policy contract. So basically I paid out 3,000 for 1 oil change.

I was just hung up on by Omega's customer service representative, James Williamson, after he refused to fulfill our warranty.

Our claim was with KIA Mall of Georgia. Our car displayed a warning light on the dash and screen and we drove it in. KIA MOG ran it through diagnostics and turned off the warning light after it indicated a problem with the fuel injection system. As James came out, he saw now warning light and refused the claim. We are now two weeks without our car after paying for this warranty. This has been terrible
Thank you -
Jamie
