The Harrogate store is well laid out and inspirational and I usually find what I’m looking for. However, I find the staff to be quite unfriendly and generally not very welcoming.

BRILLIANT OKA SERVICE IN HARROGATE
I have been a customer of Oka since they started the company. They are a brilliant company particularly the Harrogate store. The staff are brilliant and have been so since the store opened. Yesterday I went there and was served by Carole and Zoe who knew exactly what I needed and were kind enough to wrap the stuff carefully and take it to the car. Great service Zoe and Carole. Thanks for your kindness and knowledge of products also thanks for your recommendations which come from knowing your customer and customer retention which is so important these days as the online shops try to catch up. I recently bought a lamp from the Oka Harrogate store. Emma on the phone and then Louisa who helped me when I went to pick up the lamp were both extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with.

Always a pleasure to visit
Michelle and Emma always make our shopping experience in Harrogate's OKA branch, a pleasure. They're both warm and friendly and always go out of their way to help us find what we're looking for. We love to browse round the shop but more often than not, we end us buying something because everything is so beautiful. We often comment that we're always made welcome, whether we buy or just browse and that encourages us to visit more often!

Great choice of products
Great choice of products which are of good quality. Prices are reasonable especially when there is a special offer running. Staff always very helpful and on site car parking really helps.

Floor Lamp Choice Made Easy
Went into the store to look at floor lamps and shades. After a very short time, I was asked if I needed any help which I did. Fleur helped me to try various lampshades and put floor lamps together to see which one was the best for me. She also helped me with choosing the most suitable lampshade holder for the shade I liked.
As I had further shopping to do, I left my lamp and shade to be wrapped and I collected it later in the day.
The service was excellent and I also received a discount too. Well done to the Harrogate store.

Great products, questionable delivery fees
The product is great, however you should not have to pay a £30 delivery fee for the store to restock an Item.
We ordered the item (2 framed pictures) in store. The store did not have stock, and therefore charged a £30 delivery fee to bring the item into store (or deliver to home). I can understand paying for home delivery, but should not have to pay to collect an item from a store.
