I was a bit worried to order because of some of the reviews. I'm glad I took the risk though. Absolutly stunning selection of fabric, the prices are amazing and my order came the next day! Can't fault them at all

Used this company before and never had a problem until now. I placed an order on the morning of 1st June and on the 6th June the order update still said 'in preparation' It took two attempts before someone answered the phone and she said one fabric had been out of stock hence the delay. The order arrived on 7th but one of the fabrics was not the one I ordered. I phoned and no one answered again so on the third attempt I left a message explaining the problem and asking for a call back. No call back and no fabric. Today 8th June still no fabric and no call back. Left two messages again today with no response. Customer service is quite simply shocking or rather there is no customer service.

I recently ordered a sample from two different companies, Oh Sew Crafty being one of them. I contacted both companies and asked that if the sample suits my needs can I have my full order cut to that size instead of sending one huge length of fabric. Both places said yes that’s fine.
I happened to prefer the Oh Sew Crafty fabric so I contacted them again to remind them that I was going to order and to cut it as discussed. They agreed again.
To be clear, I would not have ordered if they refused to cut it because I already have enough to do for my upcoming wedding.
The fabric arrived in one huge rolls.
I emailed Oh Sew Crafty questioning why exactly they had sent me this after discussing multiple times that I did not what it. They replied asking if I want them to “look into what they can do”. I’m not sure exactly what they mean by this. I suggested sending it back to them to cut, but I’d like them to cover the postage since I wouldn’t have ordered in the first place. Their response was refusal to cover the postage back to them despite them being at fault.
The fact that they are unwilling to cover the postage (probably £10?) to make a customer happy is beyond me to be honest.
So yes, now I get to look forward to sitting on my bed and cutting 45 bits of fabric, as if I don’t have enough to do for my wedding.

I placed my first order with them recently and had a query about some fabric. They were really helpful, with great customer service. The green sparkle fabric looks great in my quilt, I think I need more colours! The Christmas print cottons are lovely.

I ordered some polycotton halloween design fabric to make hair bobbles scrunchies and bags.
I must say I was very pleased with the quality of the polycotton. Much thicker than previous polycotton I have ordered in the past from other companies. It was sent out and received by myself within three days. Very happy will definitely use this company again.

Utter waste of time placed an order 26.08.2022, chased order numerous times. Status showed processed and sent but never received. I was told they would resend order. After a couple of weeks after still not receiving order I requested a refund (which I must admit I received very promptly). Such a shame really as the website looks good with a vast array of products but not any good if you don’t receive them!

I have been purchasing from this company from when it first opened in a small unit Just outside Kidderminster never had a problem. In the new unit I have been known to go in 3 or 4 times a week. The young men working in the shop are always pleasant and helpful. In fact I’m about to take them a tin of biscuits because they are so helpful.When I was helping to make quilts for the people of Ukraine Neil the owner very kindly donated a substantial amount of fabric to the sewing group. These young men are not stitchers their job is to help you find the fabric you require and cut it for you. This in my opinion they do extremely well.

I’ve now ordered from Oh Sew Crafty on multiple occasions. I placed a large order on Friday just gone and everything arrived Today (Tuesday) which was great. I’ve never had an issue with the company the fabric is great value and there’s such a great range to choose from. Don’t have anything to say about customer service because I’ve never needed it. Overall extremely happy and will continue to be my go to place for fabric.

A fantastic range of stock, however when I asked if they had leather I was told by a young man with a sullen expression “ yeah, it’s there” he was pointing to pvc leather. I said, “I mean real leather” to which he stated “ no”.
Doesn’t sound like much but there’s always been an attitude problem and no smiles each time I’ve been. I don’t expect a welcoming parade but common courtesy would be nice.
I’m not going again and wouldn’t recommend them, purely based on the unfriendly atmosphere. Which is a shame is I like to support local small businesses.
If you like the broad, excellent range of material and accessories and can put up with being treated like you’re an inconvenience then this is the place for you to go!

Terrible dishonest company.
I bought a pattern and then they told me that they had sold it for the wrong price so cancelled the order. The reason they gave for the cancellation was that I had cancelled the order, which I had not done. I don't like sellers who lie. Buyers beware.

I responded to a request for a review and submitted a 3* review. However, they only publish 5* reviews on their website so have lost a star here. Pathetic!
Not for the first time I had to chase an order that should have arrived as they were awaiting delivery of a product. If a product is not in this needs to be communicated to the customer and options given. Poor customer service.

I used to get a lot of fabric from this company. But have to say I am very disappointed with them now. Constantly ordering in stock fabric. Only to be told a few days later, it's out of stock and won't coming in, or there's a long wait. Sort your stock control. No issues getting a refund. But won't be using them anymore.

I have ordered quite a few times and never had a problem... until now. I ordered a metre of fabric (along with several others) and I noticed it was cut wonky. On measuring I realised it measured 98cm at the longest point and 94cm at the shortest. Because I had started cutting it I was offered a 10% discount. I did not think this was acceptable for THEIR cutting mistake. So I asked for another metre to be sent. They ignored 2 of my emails and then a couple of days later said they would send it out.
Then I got an email saying they would not be sending it as they had checked their CCTV and it proved that it was cut to a metre. They attached the photo. It proved nothing and I felt I was accused of lying. I sent my photos of the fabric and have since been ignored. All this to get out of resending an £8 metre piece of fabric that was cut incorrectly in the first place.
All the other fabric was cut perfectly. I feel a little sad that a company would treat it's loyal customers like this.

My order arrived promptly but was missing one item. I emailed explaining this, received a very prompt response with an apology and the missing item arrived a few days later. A case of all’s well that ends well.
There is a very good selection of fabric for my needs which is difficult to find on the high street these days. I would use this company again.

Placed an order for 4 items. Received an email the next day to say that one item was out of stock and discontinued, and another was out of stock but they expected to have it the following week. Clearly very poor stock control, won't be ordering again.

Really disappointed as I ordered 4 items 100 x 150 as advertised only for it to arrive as one piece and then when I queried to be told that the small print states anything ordered in multiples are cut as one piece. Why oh why would u advertise something as separate items then send as I item, doesn’t make sense, so disappointed in this company, DONT ADVERTISE ITEMS IN SIZES THEN SEND ONE ITEM AND REFER TO THE SMALL PRINT. BE HONEST UPFRONT THAT THESE ARE NOT SENT IN SIZES ADVERTISED.

I was looking for a particular type of nylon fabric for a project we have in mind and requested a sample. The sample we received was not the one I had requested but suited our needs better, and I wished to discover what we had been sent and possibly to place an order. Although they provide a phone number, it goes to messages and you cannot speak to anyone. Left messages on two days and eventually received an email requesting a photo of the fabric we had received. A week later I had heard nothing. Not a squeak, not even an acknowledgment.
I have now found a fabric that meets our needs from a different supplier. It is disappointing to us, but they have lost a potential substantial order.

I ordered an in stock fabric on eBay. Three days later they said it was posted then the day after that they said it was out of stock! They must just do that to keep their eBay status right, clicking posted when they haven't even checked they have the stock! They offered an exchange. I requested a refund. I have disappointed my customer now as I can't supply the fabric. Poor service.

I had seen the reviews here but they had a pattern I really wanted so I decided to take a chance - even if the wait might be long etc. However immediately after ordering the ‘in stock’ pattern I was then emailed that it was back ordered. Followed by another email that it was delayed. And another that it was discontinued. They then offered me an exchange - which I declined and asked for a refund. To which I was offered a credit note - which I declined and asked for a refund.
Left frustrated at all the back and forth and disappointed at them not actually having what they claimed was ‘in stock’.
They did send another pattern I ordered very quickly - so I guess that merits a star.

I posted this review to their website - but it wasn’t approved, despite being factual. They only seem to approve 5 star reviews - giving themselves 5/5 stars. Pointless. Will avoid in the future!

Wish I'd of read the reviews , ordered here , didnt mind the wait as it's a pandemic after all, items arrived today , 2 of them were fine but I order a 1kg bag of of cuts etc which I knew wasnt going to be perfect but nowhere did it state that the remnants were going to have dirty Mark's and some are bad Mark's and phone numbers and name and other numbers printed all over half of , one cut of opened up and it had a disgusting yellow huge mark in the middle , unfortunately I wont return to buy from there again, judging by these comments and the fact it's a non refundable item I've had to come and write this , it's a case of order and take a chance .
Shame as the other 2 items were fab .wouldve gotten a 5 star if the remnants hadnt been so marked and written on .
