The product was fine but
The product was fine. Packaging was crap, this was wooden knitting needles and quite expensive ones but they were sent only in their thin box, no bubble wrap, no protection, no instructions to not bend. They have decided not to publish my review on their site, so will AVOID in future, they're not trustworthy

We’re pleased to hear you were happy with the knitting needles themselves, though we’re sorry you were disappointed with the packaging.
The needles are supplied in the manufacturer’s original packaging, which is designed for retail and transit use. We do our best to package orders appropriately while also keeping postage costs reasonable and reducing unnecessary excess packaging.
We would also like to clarify that reviews are not manually removed simply because they are negative. Reviews may not appear immediately for a variety of moderation or platform-related reasons.
We appreciate your comments and will take your feedback regarding packaging into consideration.

Very poor quality and not what I expected...
The yellow fleece blanket appears to have been cut by hand with regular scissors. The shape is uneven, the edges are not straight, and the fabric is badly frayed and poorly finished. This is very poor quality and not what I expected. I would not recommend this company.

All of our fabrics are cut by hand from full rolls, and we intentionally cut slightly longer than the ordered measurement to allow for any minor variances and to ensure customers are not short on length. Because fleece is a soft, knitted fabric, the raw edge can sometimes look slightly uneven before it is squared off during a project, but this does not affect the usable size or quality of the fabric itself.
We certainly do not send out frayed or poor-quality fabric, and we take pride in the materials we supply. If there is a specific issue beyond the raw cut edge, we would have welcomed the opportunity to review photos and look into it properly.
We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed on this occasion, but we do stand by the quality of our fabric and our cutting process.
Five stars are not enough
Five stars are not enough!
I was given a Gift Card, but unfortunately due to sad and difficult family circumstances, I put it aside. When life settled a little, I fetched it out and found it had expired one week earlier.
Neil from Oh Sew Crafty VERY generously agreed to extend the date by a couple of weeks. His emails were so thoughtful, kind and friendly. I now have a bag of wonderful squishy yarn waiting to be knitted.
Thank you Neil and the rest of the team, your store is amazing, packed full of great fabrics and yarns. I will be back!

Awful customer service.
Awful customer service.
I ordered online and was sent the wrong item. I emailed, called 12 times over the course of 3 hours without answer, and tried their WhatsApp all without reply. I then realised I could go to their store (1hr 30min round trip) to sort it out myself. When I got there, my issue was sorted immediately, but it’s so frustrating that their error became my issue and costed me my time to fix.
Then I finally got a reply from their WhatsApp to be told that the number I contacted wasn’t a customer service number, even though it’s the number listed on their website!!!
I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again.

I ordered some plushy fabric from this…
I ordered some plushy fabric from this company. The first size offered to purchase is 1/2 meter.
The colours were too dark for my project so wanted to return.
I have been informed that as fabric has been cut it is personalised so I cannot return or have a refund. It can only be returned if they sent wrong fabric or it’s faulty. Needless to say they say I can find better coloured fabric for my granddaughter in the future. That , I might say , is never going to happen.

We’re sorry that the fabric wasn’t the right shade for your project. As stated on our website and in line with UK regulations, fabrics are cut to each customer’s requested length from the roll and are therefore classed as cut-to-measure goods. For this reason, they are non-returnable unless faulty or sent incorrectly.
We always recommend ordering samples first where colour matching is important, as screen settings and lighting can affect how shades appear online.
We understand this was disappointing for your project, but we did supply the correct item as ordered and in accordance with our published returns policy.

Well I can't believe that Oh Sew Crafty have received a few bad reviews!!!!🥹
That is definitely NOT the case with me and my order!!!!!! It was the BEST price ANYWHERE on line, and it was despatched in super quick time, and arrived the following day! How's that for first class service?!?
I have NEVER EVER had any cause or concern dealing with Oh Sew Crafty, so I speak as I find!
For me most definitely a company worth a whole lot more than 5 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
I will definitely use them again for sure!

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Sent incorrect product. Every interaction with customer service was painful. I have never had such a negative experience purchasing from an online fabric store. I would not recommend this company to my many fellow sewists.

We’re genuinely sorry that this experience has left you feeling dissatisfied. When the issue was first raised, a photo was provided and, based on how colours can appear very differently in photographs due to lighting and screen settings, the fabric initially appeared correct. We later acknowledged this was not the case once the second order confirmed the difference.
As soon as the matter was clarified, we offered a free returns label, confirmed a refund for the incorrect fabric, and agreed to refund the additional postage you were out of pocket for. As explained, we weren’t able to refund both postage charges, as the second order was placed to compare colours rather than being a confirmed dispatch error at the time.
We understand this was frustrating and regret that we couldn’t reach a resolution you felt was satisfactory. We do, however, stand by that we acted promptly and fairly once the issue was fully identified.
We appreciate you raising your concerns and are sorry this experience didn’t meet your expectations.
