Written by the company
Octopus Legacy, formerly known as Guardian Angel, is the place to plan for death and find support after a loss. When people think about planning for death they think about wills, life insurance and funerals. We take these cold processes and turn them into something much more human. Share more than money: leave voice notes, music, recipes and videos. Shape a legacy that connects you while you're here. And after you're gone. Founded by Sam after his mum died suddenly, we’re a group of people who work in death because we’ve been affected by it. We know the difference a good plan makes, and what it’s like when there isn’t one. Death can come between us, leave mess, legal fees, frustration. But it can also connect us. We see a world where people talk openly about death, and work out the real meaning of legacy, one that connects to them. We’re here to make that world happen.

Corporate Will writing machine
Heard an interview with the founder of the company. Really liked the ethos. Booked an in person will. The guy spent so much of the time trying to hardsell things we really didn't need. Said for a small uplift we could get their LPA. 2k more from 250. In what world is that small.
Also tried desperately to sell a trust system saying that if we remarried on the death of the spouse that our child would basically disinherit. Would not recommend. If you have a simple set of assets go for a cheap online will.
I heard in the interview with Sam that people would take the time to talk us through things. It was just a tick box form on an iPad. Any wishes needed to be sent in a letter/email. Why am I paying for someone when this is what would have done online for half the price.
