I was a victim of a crypto scam. Oakwood were very helpful. The communication was very good in terms of explaining and keeping me up to date and responding in a good manner or timeframe. I was able to claim some money back and the turn around was fast. I would definitely recommend Oakwood. It was also a no win no fee which was also better for me as I wouldn't have been able to afford it.

I am perplexed as to how this law firm has top ratings and awards!? A recent experience would put them at the bottom of the league table for customer service. The discourteous and disrespectful manner in which my enquiry was dealt, no salutation the follow up email the same, contents from the " call handler" from " New Enquiries "leaves alot to be desired her insensitivity regarding the urgency definitely does not sit within an " Award Winning" Law Firm.

Fortunately, I was able to deal with the matter without further delay from an alternative source.

The response to my review from Oakwood Solicitors completely missed the point.

It is an insult for Oakwood Solicitors Leeds to request an Executor and Trustee of an estate to send across an image of an document required to be witnessed by a solicitor when the call handler does not address the person by name no salutation does not know how to send or prepare a courteous reply no salutation again. Absolutely appalling customer service. How on earth Oakwood Solicitors were awarded a top rating is beyond my comprehension. When a standard is lowered so are expectations lowered a rating may achieve 5 stars based on the quality of acceptance by the solicitor.

Thank goodness not all Law Firm's are tarred with the same brush; resolved without the necessity of sending an image.

Could have done a bit more , the money offered was pathetic , but took as needed asap, left me an angry man . Scared me for life .

I have never used
A solicitor before this so it hard to compare it to anything

I dealt with the same lady each time (apparently I am not allowed to name names ) and found her helpful, friendly, informative. Every step of the way I received an email to keep me informed. For me I felt I had been given a decent service. Especially with various different solicitors that I have used locally conveyancing houses

Stephanie kept me updated with this long drawn out claim for my pension.She responed quickly to my emails and telephone calls, was always very professional. a credit to the company.

ZERO stars awarded if i could, how is it that legal firms like this one, review your case, then say you have no success of winning, but will represent you if you are able to pay the full going fee's, Really, thats how this business operates.
Is this the state of the legal profession these days, as to why so many are not entering, and far more leaving it. And that legal aid is only given for illegal migrants these days.
i wouldn't personally recommend this law practice, based on there tactics to anyone needing legal assistance. waste of time.
