Poor Customer Service, False Commitments & No Refund After Return (Feels Like Fraud)
I had a very poor experience with Nykaa’s support and refund process.
I placed an order on 07 Feb 2026 (Order ID: NYK-331535756-1869844) for Tom Ford Ombre Leather 100 ml and Givenchy Gentleman Society 100 ml, total amount ₹33,137.
The order was delivered on 08 Feb 2026. I contacted customer support immediately and requested a return. The product was picked up and returned on 14 Feb 2026. On 15 Feb 2026, I received an email stating that the refund was initiated and would reflect in the original payment method within 5 working days.
Despite this, the refund has still not been credited to my source payment method. What made it worse is that when I followed up, I was repeatedly given generic timelines (48–72 hours) with no proactive updates. At one point I was told the refund was “processed” and I should contact the bank, but HDFC confirmed they have not received any refund request, and Nykaa has not shared any ARN/UTR to track the refund. Without an ARN, the bank cannot trace anything.
The most frustrating part is the lack of accountability and communication, I had to chase for every update, and even then I got scripted responses instead of a real resolution. Because this was a debit card EMI transaction, the delay also caused additional stress since the EMI remains active while Nykaa delays/refuses to provide proper refund proof.
This entire experience has been mentally exhausting, and I wouldn’t expect this from a company of this size. If you’re buying expensive products, be cautious, if something goes wrong, getting your money back can become a long, frustrating process.

I ordered something and delivery date was 3rd march but they kept delaying it for almost 2 days and and when it showed "out for delivery, keep your phone handy our agent will call you." still no update It's been 4-5 days.

I ordered products from Nykaa beauty. They delayed delivery and eventually admitted to have lost it. Offered refund. They have such an inefficient system and people working. I told multiple times i wont be available on call from a certain date if they delay it any further. Yet they did and guess what they tried calling when i was out of country. Such morons literally. To this date they are not able to process. BTW most stuff they sell on Nykaa are fake. Especially brands like Nike puma etc

In regards to My Nyka Fashion order ID 36398555-609749. I received an incorrect item instead of what I had ordered. I immediately raised a return/replacement request, but despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received any proper update or resolution from the Nykaa Fashion team.
The delay and lack of communication are highly unprofessional and frustrating. As a customer, I expect at least timely support and transparency regarding the status of my complaint.
This experience has seriously affected my trust in the brand. I hope Nykaa Fashion takes immediate action to resolve this issue and improves its customer service for future customers.

We were shocked to see the jar was practically half empty and the packaging look a bit dodgy as well and it looks like the returneditem was repackaging and sent to us clearly because the package was a bit wonky as well. I have followed up multiple times via email and calls, shared all required details—including product photos, box images, and the invoice—yet my return request was still rejected for “missing details,” which is completely false. I even saw the request suddenly marked as rejected on the app without any valid explanation.
The order value is ₹20,000 for two perfumes, and despite clearly requesting approval and complying with every requirement, the request was denied. This has been an extremely disappointing and eye-opening experience. I strongly warn anyone shopping on Nykaa to be very cautious—returns are not customer-friendly, and the process is unnecessarily difficult. This feedback is honest and driven by genuine frustration.

My return orders have not been picked up for more than 15 days .

Everyday you get a message to keep the pickup ready and within an hour the pickup is cancelled saying we attempted to pickup but it dint happen.
They sell such expensive brands and then dont arrange for the return.

I have received a wrong product once in the month on Jan 2026..
After a lot of request they accepted the return of the wrong product..
But for 4 days i was notified that pick up couldn't happen because i was rescheduling it..after 8 days battle the wrong product was picked up and i got my refund..
In the month of Feb 2026 i again ordered the same product and to my surprise, again i received a wrong product that too same as the last one..
After a lot of battle, my product was picked up without notifying me that the product is been picked up..and now they are again sending me delivery boy for the pickup..
