AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I entered a competition for an iphone6 and was charged the initial 50p. Since then I have had nothing but trouble with this company. They have taken £40 per month from my credit card account for a service that I did not want and nor did I know I had signed up to receive.
The first time I noticed this was when I was sent an invoice for £40 which was taken from my credit card account.
I immediately queried this by email but had no reply. I tried on numerous occasions to send more emails and eventually received a poorly written email insisting that I had signed up for their services. It gave me the option to cancel through their website - this proved impossible as I had no sign-in information (username or password). Furthermore, when I visited their website and tried to progress beyond the homepage, I only got error messages. I tried this on several occasions and each time there was an error! I attempted to ring the company (albeit from the UK to Los Angeles) and received a dead tone on the telephone.
There seems no way out of this agreement.
I informed my credit card company about this matter at the early stages and thankfully they have temporarily credited my account and stopped further payments until they investigate this further.
My advice to you? Avoid nuevascalendarios at all costs. They will only give you heartache, frustration and a fat bill for absolutely nothing! Many people have been duped by them in the same way as I because of the small print in their agreement. I read all of these things and did not notice it. So, buyer beware, stay well clear of them.
