Steeped in Hebridean history, but always forward thinking, our family run distillery in the Outer Hebrides produces some of Scotland’s very finest artisan spirits including the multi award winning Downpour Gin range and our soon to launch Nunton Whisky.

Say hello to Downpour Scottish Dry Gin. Citrus, spice and blossoms of wild Hebridean heather. Our special Scottish Gin is bursting with botanicals, drenching you in big bold flavours you can taste in every drop. Also available in Pink Grapefruit and Sloe and Bramble editions, in our custom designed, environmentally friendly bottle.
Nunton Steadings
Built way back in the 1700s, the beautifully historic Nunton Steadings building is the place we call home. Situated in Benbecula, right at the heart of island life, it’s where we proudly bring Whisky production back to our islands. Currently under restorations work, our B-listed building is undergoing some loving attention to bring it back to bustling island life.

Brilliant Distillery & Shop
Brilliant gin, great guided tours & tastings! Lovely shop & distillery. Local charm in the converted listed building. Wonderful local grassroots company with the highest standards of land to hand craft gin and whisky. We had the guided distillery tour. Rhona was a great tour guide. Very interesting and such a wide variety of tasting at the end. The shop staff are friendly and knowledgable. Totally recommend.
