Nordowl , after lengthy e mails and negotiations are prepared to allow us to return the camera AT OUR OWN COST Via DHL ( THEY HAVE SPECIFIED ) and the cost? £80 !
and that us before we have paid import taxes to China .

The camera itself is great.
Excellent vision. Good movement detection.
4G can, at times, be variable.
Excellent customer service, very helpful when I didn't get an email about the confirmation and shipping information. Also generous regarding the fact that it was not obvious that I needed to subscribe.

The Nordowl Trail Camera (32MP Dual-Lens 4G Wildlife Camera, 4x Zoom, Ultra HD Night Vision & Smart Motion Detection) is well built and feels very solid. Delivery from NordOwl was speedy and the camera well packaged. However, the camera does not have an in-built screen and can only be configured through the app. Fair enough, except the app wants to connect over 4G (wi-fi and Bluetooth are not available) and it requires a very strong signal, so far I've not been able to connect to it.

Also, the batteries are not replaceable. You recharge via the supplied solar panel or, bring the camera home and use the recharging cable.

I did contact Nordowl and they got back really quickly to confirm how to configure the camera. I just need to get a very solid mobile signal!
