Noir Calgary 

I ordered sneakers from them thinking they were a legit company from Calgary. I only realized it was in China when the tracking information was provided. The shoes were cheap, asymmetrical, and definitely not as claimed. I emailed them to complain, they offered to exchange for a "small fee". I refused so they then sent me a refund approval but told me that I was responsible for shipping - back to China!! I can't even sell these.

I, too, fell into the same trap as other reviewers. This company is an absolute scam. DO NOT order anything from this company. I am kicking myself for being so gullible and not reading the reviews first. Lesson learned! I guess the old adage, “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”.

This is not an actual store with a lovely couple retiring from business. That is a scam front for cheaply made clothing in China that look nothing like the products advertised. Returns have to be sent to China at an exorbitant fee. Do not order from this website.

Don't buy anything from this place. I thought I was buying Canadian but it's not! It's all shipped from China and cheaply made. Looks nothing like the pictures.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I am kicking myself for not checking reviews on this company before I ordered, but my son forwarded me this with something he really wanted so I went ahead. It is a hard $110 lesson.
This is just another scam company from China. The company makes it sound like a sob story from Calgary. They are using the same story (and probably just changing it to your hometown name) all over the world. The product looked nothing like the picture and was of a poor, inferior quality - typical crap from China. When I inquired about getting my money refunded I was told that I had 30 days from delivery to do so. I asked where the store was and I would return it personally. You can’t. It’s in China!!! To pay the return cost more than half of the price I paid. Your final two options are to get something else from them (at way lesser value) or get 15% of your money back. Not wanting any more of their sh*t, I chose to get 15% of my money back I can hardly wait for my $16.49 check. I guess something is better than nothing-but boy do I feel foolish.

A total scam from China. Ordered three clothing items that looked great in the photos but, when they finally arrived a month later, from China not Calgary, turned out to be really poor quality fabric, badly made, and so small I could barely get them on (I ordered medium, but I’d say they’re XS). They went straight in the donation bin as returning them was going to be so expensive……and I’m out a couple of hundred dollars. Sooooo annoyed with myself for falling for this.

Similar to all the other stories here. Kicking myself for not checking reviews first. I was taken in by the images of the store front, the elderly couple's story of retiring and the quality-looking products on their site. I ordered a VESA Waterproof jacket which looked like a nice rainjacket with a rubber outer and quality lining on the inside. What I received was a very poor knock-off, the sizing was terrible and the jacket is not in the least bit waterproof as even a damp cloth soaks right through. When I asked for a refund, they provided an address for return that would cost $234.35 to ship to via DHL. They also offered that I could get a jacket in a different size for an additional fee to cover shipping (I would not give them any more of my money) or they would refund me a mere 15% of my purchase and I could donate it or throw it away. I have reached out to my bank to see if they can help.

This is the worst scam ever!!! I ordered a pair of boots for my sick daughter that she saw and really liked on this site, and I was shocked when I received the order. A pair of boots priced $250 and in sale for $ 74.95 that look totally different from their advertising picture and without label description inside the boots and wrong sized.This kind of boots you find them in Dollarama or Temu priced 1/15 of the original price.How can someone be so heartless and scaming so many people?I guess it is our fault that we didn't check the reviews to find out about this farse company.Now if I want to return them, I have to pay the return shipping.Somebody has to stop this farse.

Dreadful - a scam. I ordered two bras that looked good in the photo - I wasn't quick enough to spot it was from China before I hit the purchase button! It took two months for the bras to arrive - very poor quality and nowhere close to fitting. I bought an XL that might have fit my 15 year-old self! I couldn't get them close to closing. I've been corresponding with an AI bot - I've got the same reply a couple of times about how they'll reship them to me in a different size for a shipping fee of ~$25! Not about to buy a thing from them. BTW, once you've bought from one of these Chinese scam companies you'll recognize them - Singlair-Toronto; Noir-Calgary, ... It's more or less the same merchandise in each. The photos look good. The merchandise is awful!

This company is a total rip off!! They are not based in Calgary but rather China. The dress took months to come, the seams were not sewn, there was loose threads everywhere. They wanted me to ship it back through DHL which would have cost $208.00. If it went back with Canada Post it would cost $70.00 with a tracker but no guarantee that it would be there in 30 days which was a stipulation of returning a product even though it took months to come. If I sent it back airmail it would cost $20.00 and could take 3 months. The postal worker told me that if it didn’t get there in 30 days that company sends it back with me paying the return postage as well! The company told me to donate it but it can not be donated as it is unwearable. Do not use this company and get fooled as I did. I saw Calgary and thought it was ok. I should have read reviews!! Lesson learned!!

There is no way this company is in Calgary!
Mine came on a slow boat from China, and I got two identical tops (the second one at 10% off). I cannot make them understand that I do not want two! I really don’t even want one, as it is cheaply made, not as in the picture, and a very stiff polyester that will give me a rash. I will keep the one I ordered, in good faith, but just let me return the second one!! And get refunded for the second one. Now they want me to take a picture of the “problem”. 😡 By the time things are sorted out, the 30 day return window will be over.

Scam for certain. Nothing to be positive about. We got scammed. Not from Calgary. Very poor quality and fit. No labels on clothing, other than M or L. Took a month to arrive, and yes, it came from China according to tracking. No return label as I requested, and was advised to order another item for near $40….yeh sure! More of my money! I changed my Mastercard, and may get my money back, but that’s not the point. I fell for the scam, and am so angry at myself. Read malware tips.com which had a really good article about Noir-Calgary and how it fits into a scam…..good to educate oneself, so it doesn’t ever occur.

Yes it's a scam. 120$ for sandals I thought were from Calgary. Instead I got cheap Temu shoes from China. I'm in the return process and getting the run around. Definitely a lesson learned moment.

I ordered what looked like beautiful clothes in their pictures but they are dollar store quality and I’m having a hard time getting my money back from them.
I spent 369 dollars for an upcoming trip and it looks like I’m out of that money.
The clothes are made from what feels like styrofoam.
It’s my first online purchase aside from Amazon and I will never do this again.
If I could say no stars I would. Don’t buy from them!!!

Echo everyone's reviews so far. Kick myself for not researching before I got sucked in. Temu type quality, not like the photos at all and very poor fabric quality fit. My sister purchased 1 dress as well and cost to ship back EXCEEDS $200 via DHL. Avoid these guys at all costs
