I've used the app for over a year I've claimed my points which was about £150 vouchers 😊 well worth using.
Now the app has been updated supposedly to make it easier to navigate it just loads for 10 to 20 mins while my shopping defrosts..not good ...needs sorting out. App updated and is such a better experience now it's sorted and working 100% ❤️🫶❤️

Whats the point of asking people to do this then tell you they already have people who fit that criteria. Waste of time

Very disappointed with the app. I declare my purchases and earn points, but when I want to redeem my points for a gift card as promised, it doesn't work! I just wanted to see what gift card options were available, but the app redirects me to a so-called "secure" login page where I’m supposed to enter a code received via SMS, but I never receive anything! I’ve tried restarting the app and resending the code... Still nothing.

Installed it before but it was HORRENDOUS! closed my account even though i contacted them like 100 times they wouldnt reply but fast forward to 2024 I re sign up , customer service was FAB! and earned points quickly 5/5 Nielsen!

I could’t access the reward catalogue despite emailing several times, so I told them I wouldn’t do any more scanning until I could access my rewards. They then archived my account and now say they can’t access it even though they still text me about outstanding scanning. They have now told me I can’t have the £70 of vouchers I earned.

After installing the app and reading about everything that you have to do I decided it was way too much and they sounded like they were my employer and the were like that nasty manager that you've all had. I went to delete my account but after an hour of trying I can't find anyway to do so.

I can't even access the app on my phone. I keep getting that my phone number and email is invalid

Be careful those people they are staring on spending for a purpose of plan, and even you reach certain points to claim a voucher they will send you an email 📨 that's your not eligible because not enough points. There is nothing free I'm fraid, ( ho are they those people). They did this app for purpose.
Thanks for getting those answers ( I didn't have them when you called me , to clarify this, I guess all my points stuck there in your app with out redeem, and many more customers has a situation like me! )
As I said this app.is purpose plan).
Try to give customers what you promised first, then we take it from there.
We did agreed on minimum points there is rewards, not what you are saying now it wasn't saying in the phone, and is no only me I'm saying this is all the customers reviews, I know this is your job responding on all matters, but see how many reviews about your app , is wrong, or are you trying to prove all those customers otherwise. You should consider it, and take a second and think about it.

I signed up for this thinking I could scan using my phone, but they sent me a bunch of equipment. I never used the equipment so then they started harassing me with e-mails asking for this equipment to be returned. I called them to return this equipment and was told I would receive an e-mail with instructions on how to return the equipment, but I still haven't received this e-mail and now they're threatening me saying they've sent my case to Collections.

I exchanged 6000 plus points on the 30th of September can someone tell me when I should receive my chosen gift card.
Thank you for your response it was really helpful, it was myself who mis-understood the email instructions.

This is a terrible service, avoid at all cost. This is my experience.
1. The reward for the work is very small, it also takes a very long time to get any rewards.
2. If you do not follow their schedule of reporting weekly, they will hound you. I was away for an extended period of time due to a family medical emergency and I was then sent threatening email stating that they would sent my account to collections. I tried to explain the situation, they did not care.
3. My account was sent to collections after my situation was ignored, and this happened after I shipped their equipment back.
I'm not sure if they treat everyone like this, but based on my experience I can not recommend this 'service'.

Would like to review Nielsen, but for some reason they won't let me join! Entered phone number and email address and when asked to verify they're both "invalid". Never mind, there are probably similar apps ought there that may actually want people to join!!
Just downloaded the app again. Exactly the same thing. No SMS or email as promised and my phone number and email address still "invalid" as previously. Waste of time! No doubt a regional / postcode bias.

I downloaded this app through an ad I’d seen on social media, thought it looks alright and I’d give it a go, after setting up my account I scanned some bits and then i went off to read further into reviews just to get a general idea on points, pay out time scales etc.
After reading some negative reviews I didn’t want to waste my time like I have previously so I uninstalled the app.
I have since had messages, emails and 4 phone calls in less than a week!
I answered the first time and said I wasn’t interested im sorry yet they try ringing again and again!
I don’t remember agreeing to constant phone calls when I haven’t scanned anything.

Claim your remaining points and close the account!
NielsenIQ has gone from bad to worse. Never respond to help email, if you don't scan after 1-2 weeks, they will call you and ask why, and the worst part is try to log in to your account. Here are all the steps (yep... you read it right):
1. Your password will expire every 90 days, need to get a new one sent via email (2 mins wait time)
2. After the password reset, you need to complete the reCAPTCHA (1 min wait time)
3. Then you need to generate an OTP which will be sent via email (2 mins wait time)
4. Once you're logged in, you'll realise the panel hasn't been updated since 2021 at least, not much useful information, not very engaging. The only menu you want to use is the Rewards Catalogue (2-3 mins reviewing time)
5. Guess what? you need to log in again by entering your DOB in yyyy-mm-dd format (1 min processing time)
6. And yep, another OTP to generate, be patient my child until you get the OTP via email (2 mins wait time)
7. and now it's time to browse what you want to trade your points with. My recommendation is go for a digital gift card(s) if you have sufficient points
All those above steps just to get your points redeemed will suck at least 10 minutes out of your life. Whoever came up with the idea of designing the sign-in journey like this deserves to be fired for making people's lives harder and wasting their time.
As I said, if you have at least 103 points ($10 equivalent), redeem them all and don't engage with NielsenIQ anymore. What a waste of time and useless panel to join.

I signed up then life got in the way and couldn't finish it, so left it till things could return to normal, I then receive a call from a very arrogant and unprofessional member of staff, I asked to be called by the shorter variety of my name (like when people called Alexander like being called Alex or Joshua like being called Josh ETC) she refused because "its not the name you signed up with".....yeah it is, I just like to be called by the shorter variety 🤦🏻♂️
She then decided to be very rude and cut the call off
And during covid they were much much worse (and quit the first time (second time round i completely forgot who they were and went on a friends recommendation),
They decided (as a serious problem was going on (not going any further than that) in my life, which they have no business knowing) they decided that the holiday I'm allowed is 4 weeks then I must return, amd start scanning again
There were times where I may not have gone shopping for thar week (may have stocked up ahead ETC and they'd bombard me with calls being extremely arrogant aggressive unprofessional and rude dictating I must scan something, I tell them I haven't needed to and will do when I'm good and ready, not when you are,
They didn't like that, then just kept bombarding me with demands over and over again, I'd had enough and quit on the spot
Don't sign up, don't give them your data and don't have anything to do with them, they'll call relentlessly if you don't do as they demand and will treat you like you're working for them (which you arent but somehow they think it's ok to treat you like you are
who are they to dictate my life to me?
Who are they to dictate how much time I need?
And how dare they hassle me whilst I'm going through the worst situation of my life

Website is dreadful to navigate I haven’t once been able to access the rewards catalog and I have over 6000 points in my account they have now void my password and when I press forgotten password as instructed to they ask for my mothers maiden name when I enter it they say I’ve had too many attempts and lock me out altogether , would I recommend probably not as I wouldn’t wish anyone else the headache

For years i had the same username and password without any trouble. Now the have decided to VOID my password every three month and also introduce a 6 digit additional code.
Today they have denied me access to the rewards page for on unknown reason . Call the helpline a popup says.
Help Desk Telephone: 0800 373 148 between 9am-5pm. the website says. A voice says buisiness hours are 2pm to 6pm.
Pretty sure I will be saying goodbye quite soon.

I was a panelist for six years and had no problems at all. Even though it was a lot of work to scan everything I bought and the rewards low, I found it enjoyable. They then seemed to devalue the points and it took even longer to accumulate enough to redeem anything. Then they started pushing their app, despite all my refusals (hard to use an app when you don't have a smartphone), and it seems they lost interest in my membership and stopped responding to questions.
My scanner started acting up and I was sent a new one. It was NOTHING like the one I had before and it took a while to figure out, no thanks to (it is to laugh) panelist support and the decidedly vague instruction sheet. Not only did they not bother to clean it (ew), it was horrid to use: Big and awkward to hold and scan, difficult to read, having to scroll and scroll and scroll, and having to transmit manually myself after downloading their software. I sent my first transmission using it and shortly thereafter I got an obnoxious email telling me I wasn't scanning or transmitting enough. If I didn't start scanning and transmitting more, there would be consequences. I was so offended, I cancelled my membership immediately and returned their awful equipment. I got a call shortly after asking if I wanted to come back. If I did, I'd be forced to use the app (again: no smartphone) and transmit 5 weeks in a row for the grand sum of $15. Still, I briefly considered it if they would send me a scanner like the one I had for 6 years (it was hard to say goodbye), but not after the difficulty I had getting the last of my points redeemed.
I still had 10,000 points in my account, good for a $10 gift card. Their terms state you have three months after termination to claim it. While the equipment was in transit, I was locked out of my account. Once they had their precious equipment, I could log in, but kept getting an error when I tried to redeem. The online support section was removed from the website, so I contacted them 4 times by email - all of which were ignored. I eventually got a phone call saying the gift card would be sent "right now." And it actually was, so that's something anyway.
Don't bother with this outfit. Not only are they indifferent (sometimes downright rude), it's a great deal of effort and takes forever to accumulate enough points to get anything at all. Even then, you're restricted to one redemption a month. It didn't used to be like this: The rewards used to be easy to accumulate and redeem frequently, panelist support was very responsive and helpful, the scanners easy to use, and no trying to shove an app down one's throat. All that is gone, now. Kinda sad.
