Stay away from Nido Living!
Nido Living took over administration over the apartment building that we are renting in October 2023. We had many issues before they took over. But the last company atleast answered and Communicated with us. But since Nido took over, its been impossible to get in touch with them.
It took them over 3months to answer an email. Very unprofesional from a big company. They dont pick up the phone either.
We had heating problem, our heat in the apartment didnt work properly. Have in mind that this has been a very cold november and desember in Denmark. And our apartment have not been the only one with these issues. We have a facebook group, and 80% of the tenants have this problems. And nobody can get in touch with Nido.
Are you considering renting apartment from Nido Living, expect this kind of service from them.
Stay Away!

Already an expensive place
Already an expensive place, this year a utility charge which was added without any notice, no transparency on what that charge will be used for. Money grabbing as the prices are already 3 to 4 K over other places.
Receptionist and laws
One receptionist, Michelle, was very rude, she did not had the kidness to approach with people. She was not patient to treat with foreign people who may not know about the laws in Ireland.
Also in the accommodation you work with people from other countries and the laws are very different, so you can tell people about the 28 days notice when you want to move out.
Lost Deposit
I mistakenly made a booking for the wrong date, and was told I couldn't change it. Now I've lost my deposit because they couldn't give me the date I want, and it's non refundable
Okay
The staff was really nice and was always helpful and quickly to reply. I really liked the study rooms and the gym as they were both very convenient. Everything was new in the apartments, however, the quality of most furniture and kitchen items is questionable. Both of our hobs were not working properly after 2 or 3 weeks, we reported this but until I left end of April they were not replaced and we had to cook with only one side on each hob working. This was kind of disappointing for the price that we are paying. Other than that the location was very nice because it was a 5 minute walk to UCC.
Everything was good
Everything was good. Very kind staff. But please, consider if air conditioning is working good in block E (where air in common areas seemed very stinking and stale) because I found it more effective in block B.
Thanks
Not worth the money
I had to terminate my contract early due to a change in my home university‘s schedule.
However, I never got any money back even though I discussed the procedure with a staff member. I‘m disappointed, to say the least!
Excellent staff and incredibly…
Excellent staff and incredibly accommodating. The only thing you guys need is a toilet brush and a detachable sink drain so hair doesn't clog it.
Poor management no security provided
Hated it here
Reception staff and managers were majorly unhelpful, not only to me but to many people I have spoken with. The rooms and kitchens were not worth the extortionate price. There are much better student accommodations with larger spaces and nicer staff for a lot less money such as Amnis House.
not worth what you pay
not worth what you pay. nothing in terms of cookware, plates, knives, forks etc. provided. pitiful clothes washing facilities. en suite rooms only reason for 2 stars
Worst place to stay as an student
It is the worst place to stay as student. They don't have anything needed for kitchen and beeding. They charge you crazy amounts whenever they want, their contracts doesn't say anything about the cancelation process and there is one girl called Michelle whom is very rude to customers and doesn't explain anything properly, if you don't understand her, she screams at you and scold you.
I came to Ireland and hate it because of Nido, now that I moved I am able to star enjoying it.
okay, if you're desperate
Absolutely loved the 24-hour hot-water availability, the location, on-site gym, and the fact that they received parcels for us, however that's about it. The kitchens are absolutely bare-bones, you are essentially playing russian roulette with your flatmates, the basketball hoop is a good idea until its not, there aren't enough washers or dryers, the door system is flat out weird (why do i have to leave through the lobby when there's a door that leads straight outside in the gym? oh because we've made it an alarmed fire door) (oh you want to carry your luggage/groceries/whatever in? gotta deal with the heaviest doors in human existence) (oh you want to take a picture out of your window cause it looks pretty? well you either gotta do it through the tiniest metal bars or the dirty never-cleaned windows- take your pick!)
Additionally, I hated that they allowed cars in when there was absolutely not enough space. They would park in front of walkways and when you're carrying groceries in, its really annoying to walk around one or two cars just to get to your blocks door.
When you email the team about a problem you're having with your flatmates, they will tell you to "talk it out" even if you already tried. For months.
Oh, the walls are thin by the way.
Nevertheless, if you really need accommodation, it's not the worst. Liveable, especially if you hot jackpot and get actually nice flatmates.
