Wow...the shipping was fast and I cannot believe the detail to packaging. A tank would have to roll over it to make a dent..

The quality of the door was decent. The staining of the door was a nightmare. After spending 3 months trying to get a stain color approved the door took forever to complete. The door sat in my garage in a crate for 2 months over winter. In spring my builder installed the door and I almost fell over when I saw the stain color. It was almost black compared to the warm brown that I had approved. I took photos of the stain samples that I approved next to the door as it was installed. I sent an email to Nick's and was given the standard response of you can return the door and they would work on it. It's too late to return after it's already installed...I should have checked the BBB before I bought. Other customers have battled the company over the same problem to no avail. Since they make you pay the complete bill before they will ship the door you have no recourse.

Doors were very well made. Transaction easy and the sales department is very helpful in guiding you through the ordering procedure. Doors were made and delivered in a timely manner.

Fantastic. I live in Southern California, halfway across the country from Nicks. It was still cheaper and easier to go through Nicks. Shipping added time to the order, but still was 50 cheaper including the shipping

The door i purchased was great it was a misunderstanding with sales rep and i on the size. I realized i signed the proposal without noticing the difference.the guy i spoke to was very nasty to me yelling and cursing .like i said i made the mistake but spending $3000 with this company and being talked to like a child i would never use them again

I purchased pre-hung interior oak doors. Shipping error by vendor, but, they quickly resolved this with their subcontractors and paid the extra cost. I had a contractor waiting and it took several extra days.

On the other hand, my contractor, a finish carpenter by training and trade, said the quality of the product was excellent. We had expected them to come 'assembled', but, they came in assembly required version.

Bottom line, when the need arises, I will order from this company again. I need additional exterior doors and am very satisfied that their products are outstanding quality.

I order three exterior doors from Nicks Building, they are beautiful and came when they said they would. everyone was pleasant and easy to deal with. The packing of the doors to ship was amazing. I was worried since the doors have a lot of glass but there were no issues. I would definitely use them again.

We do recommend this company all the time. Elizabeth takes good care of us and our homeowners.

Excellent products!

They have great products and amazing prices. And the shipment is super fast! We needed some casings for our doors and they got it to us in a flash! I also checked all the different places locally in California and nothing compared to their prices - even with shipping costs, they were 1/2 the price! Give them a call if nothing else...once you get the info, you will use them for life!

The entry door is beautiful! I am very happy with the product and services from Nick's. I experienced some poor communication with freight shipping company.

The door is perfect. The quality is even better than I ever expected, its heavy, its sturdy, incredibly well made. The staff was very helpful. Everything went exactly as promised

Order door from picture on line that showed a product that was finished. They sent the door unfinished. That wasn't so bad but when I went to inquire I received a rather rude message back. Plus I had to pay an additional $75 when the door was delivered for use of a forklift. All of this may have been disclosed in "fine print", but the experience was less than satisfactory.

I think they did a good job. Elizabeth was very clear with us.

Very disappointed!!! The door I purchased was to be used on a million dollar home but because of totally unsatisfactory 3/4" X 2" white , etched tempered glass markings on each of the 8 lites, I was unable to use the door.
When I called Nick's Building Supplies to complain their only response was " we have used that glass supplier for years and had never had a complaint.
When I showed my local glass supplier his comment was "that is totally unacceptable ".

Quality product and very good customer support.

Order process worked well, timed charges and delivery all went well. Installed and finished one of six doors, looks excellent
