I’ve sent in three emails to the editor and news desk of the Hereford times regarding Hereford BMW and their appalling customer service but I’ve not had a single response. May be it’s a Hereford thing that there’s no customer service and every one is ignorant and can’t do their jobs correctly!!

Demanding 100wpm on your job vacancies when transcription software exists is a ridiculous policy that risks excluding journalists who are otherwise a natural fit. It's 2026, stop living in the past and clinging onto tradition just for the sake of it.
Asked to do my Facebook advertising completely messed it up do not use them.stay away
Appalling company to do business with - they ran advertisements in their magazines after my request to stop and then threatened me with legal action because of unpaid invoices! Invoices for advertisements I didn’t want to place. Nasty, unpleasant, unprofessional people to deal with and I would suggest it’s best to avoid at all costs.
Joined them by email for Glasgow Evening Times news.Ad city. But pushes content by email that you can't even read unless you pay.No other news company does this.So unsubscribed from all news.Greed ain't good.re reply no you push news too phone but cant view it as have too pay so stop pushing paid content and you will get less 1 star reviews ads are not a problem. Pushing content that cant be read is pathetic and not used by any other uk news site.the end

IF YOU WANT FAMILY DEATH NOTICE COVERED IN ADVERTS !!
PLACE IN ANY OF THEIR ONLINE PAPERS !
I am still waiting to the answer to my question.
The recruitment company Jobs24, which is owned by Newsquest managed to nefariously get my details and proceeded to spam me. Very concerning for a media group and raises questions as to how they get their information. I will give them credit that they somehow manage to reply to all these negative comments, so the PR part of the business is working well!

I Pay A Direct Debit For My Basingstoke Gazzette Newspaper To Be Delivered To My Home Address Every Thursday(Because I Cannot Get Out To Buy A Copy) For The Past 3/4 Weeks, Ive Not Had My Paper Delivered, After Many Emails And Phone Calls, And Being Promised IWould Recieve My Paper This Has Not Happened, Disgusting Very Poor, Management Need A Good Shake Up, I Have now Ended My Direct Debit, Because Of Very Poor Service.
I have always believed in the importance of raising awareness about issues that matter. There is a page dedicated to exposing problems (Exposed - Cheats and Abusers”), it was never about making profit — it was about informing people, sharing truth, and provoking thought. That’s why I was completely taken aback when Newsquest targeted the page with a copyright claim, despite the fact that they do not own the pictures the police do.
Here is what I found unfair and deeply frustrating:
• The images in question were obtained from official police sources/public domain, not from Newsquest.
• Yet Newsquest issued a copyright takedown demand, effectively trying to shut down an awareness page.
• Their claim seems to be less about copyright and more about suppressing an awareness platform.
• There was no offer to discuss or clarify; it appeared procedural and heavy-handed.
If this is how a major media group treats free expression, awareness efforts, and public interest content, then something is very wrong. Newsquest should be encouraging accountability and transparency — not using legal threats to stifle voices that are simply pointing out real issues.
I hope Newsquest reviews its practices. I hope they consider: who really owns the content; why awareness pages exist; and whether suppressing them serves the public good. Because this feels less like copyright protection and more like censorship.
Hopefully they will reply to numerous emails sent also.
Keep up good work on getting them shut down for good
the Exposed cheats liars abusers pages on
Facebook
they even have pages saying subscribe when there saying they don't get paid even have ticktock pages explicitly everyone which poeple know you get paid using others poeple and victims to make them good
They do not keep archives of the local newspapers they own. How stupid is that? How can people research local/family history? Stupid.

Took money out of my account on an automatic renewal when did not agree to it and gave me no notification of this being imminent like all other companies do.
Took £40 for something I don’t use and don’t want and never signed up for.
Also somebody called April was very rude and very unhelpful and refused any refund.
Do not sign up for or give this company any bank details as others have said and 79% giving them a one star rating tells you everything you need to know!

Don’t do it - absolute thieves - they will steal money from your bank account - do not give them card details - only pay for advertising on invoice by bank transfer
They took £3690 from my bank account in 5 payments on one day instead of £425 and I have been fighting for months to get the money back
Now I have to go legal
Do not trust this group not to rob you
Absolutely terrible company. All you see is repeated adverts over and over again.Very frustrating and annoying.

If I could have given 0 stars I would have .Having taken out a subscription as a gift for a Christmas present the recipient was having issues with none receipt of magazines never .
Having advised Newsquest ,what should have been an easy fix has turned into a nightmare and waste of time .
The customer service is abysmal ,I was advised that emails had been sent to the recipient when they hadn't ,then given incorrect instructions to receive the missing magazines and then the had the cheek to say the recipient could access them online even though monthly receipt of the physical magazines was purchased and required.
Their feedback says it all.
