Cancel Trip and NO refund
Mytrip cancelled my flight booking and has not refunded my €650. Their Indonesian phone number does not work, there is no accessible email, and once a booking is cancelled it disappears from your account entirely — making it impossible to even raise a support request through their own system.
This is completely unacceptable. I am now pursuing a chargeback through my bank and filing a complaint with consumer protection authorities. I strongly warn others: if something goes wrong with your booking, Mytrip makes it nearly impossible to get your money back.

If I could give them zero stars I would. NEVER book with mytrip. I should have known better. I found their cheap flights in December, and then had a death in the family and some other things come up, so I wanted to reschedule. Their website says "To reschedule your trip with Flexible ticket contact us no later than 24H before departure." I tried rescheduling 5 different times through chat and phone call two months out before my departure date. Every time I would give different dates, they would say it would cost an additional $1000 for some dumb reason. I asked if there were cheaper options, and they would say they couldn't help me. It was a ring-a-round of me asking to speak with a non-existent supervisor or someone who can help me, and then they would end the conversation. And don't call them on the phone, or you're charged international call fees!

I strongly do NOT recommend using MyTrip.
This is the third time I have had serious issues with this company, and my latest experience has been completely unacceptable.
First of all, baggage information is misleading. During the booking process, it appears that baggage is included, but later you realize it is not — especially on return flights. I was charged around $160 just for one-way baggage.
Secondly, my flight with Air India was changed 4–5 times. As a consulate employee, I must return to work on time, and these constant schedule changes made the trip unreliable and impossible for me to manage.
When I asked for a solution, instead of helping, I was offered a flight change for more than €2000, which is absolutely unreasonable.
In the end, I had to cancel my trip. Out of everything I paid, I am only being refunded 1632.78 TRY, which is clearly unfair and unacceptable.
I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. This company does not take responsibility and leaves customers without proper support.
I will escalate this case to consumer protection authorities and my bank, and I will continue sharing my experience publicly so other travelers do not face the same situation.
Avoid MyTrip at all costs.

Where do I even begin? My flight to the Middle East was cancelled because of the war. I understand these are difficult circumstances, but this agency made an already stressful situation unbearable.
I booked with this agency specifically because they advertised a "self-transfer guarantee." That turned out to be complete nonsense.
Here's what actually happened:

I tried calling to sort out a refund – waited over two hours to speak to someone.
When I finally got through, they refused to refund my money. Only a voucher to an active war zone.
When I mentioned their so-called "self-transfer guarantee," they gave me the runaround and offered zero help.
So what exactly is the guarantee for? Because it certainly didn't guarantee my money back, my time respected, or my booking honoured. They use fancy marketing terms to lure you in, but when things go wrong – especially during a crisis – they vanish or make you wait hours just to tell you to get lost.
Don't fall for the self-transfer guarantee lie. It's just a way to mess with customers while holding their cash hostage. Book directly with the airline instead.

I actually got scammed - Was booking a flight with them and went through to payment of 288 GBP. Once paid, I went back to the original website where they now asked if I was ok with a 15 gbp ticket increase, obviously no. Turned out that I did not get any emails with a order confirmation or anything at all, however the funds were still reserved on my card. After 2 weeks they got RELEASED to MyTrip despite them not giving me the tickets! BEWARE they are indeed a fraudulent company.

Unexpected Extra Charge Due to Currency Conversion
When we reached the payment stage, the amount was charged in GBP from my credit card, which resulted in approximately 1,000 TL more than expected. This made the total cost higher than the travel budget I had planned.
Unfortunately, I only realized this after the transaction was completed. Since cancellation was not an option at that point, we had to accept the situation. However, this unexpected extra charge caused dissatisfaction with the overall experience.

MyTrip were semi helpful, but behaved oddly even encouraging me to talk to airlines directly to try and resolve issues which MyTrip should have dealt with themselves. If you want cheap tickets and are comfortable with some risk, then these guys are great. If you're looking for low stress and can afford to pay a bit more, then I just would.
Having said this, the customer services team tried really hard, but their training and system access didn't give them the full tooling to sort the issues which we encountered.
