The app is straightforward and the team always responsive.

First time user. Overall a lot to really like here. Working sequentially was easy, but a little less easy when you come back to review some particular sections. It was also surprisingly difficult to find the predicted taxes to be paid - including a running tally on the main screen or a clearly marked page would seem like a simple solution. Overall I will be back!

My tax return is not complicated. However handling my foreign residence when completing my USA taxes is not simple. MyExpatTaxes asks the right questions and provides all the necessary forms for taxpayers living abroad.

It was quite fast. It was less stressful this year than in the past.

This is my 5th year or so using MyExpatTaxes. Super easy, straightforward and lots of help if you need.

A corrector, human, helped me solve my error.

Employee experience is great! Much better than any other tax service I have used.

My only comment is that it would be useful to see what amounts were entered in the prior year, as you're entering the current year. In addition, the salary vs. bonus sections are a little confusing with how it ties to pension plan and taxes (and whether splitting is actually needed).

Permits me to file my taxes without going to a tax professional in person. Very easy to use. Well priced for what you get.

This is the second time I have used this service and I love how user-friendly and fast it is. I didn't like using accountants in the past because of all the work I would have to put in only to pay someone else to finish it. This allows me to make sure all of my papers are in order with a digital guide that makes answering the questions easy. Plus the turn around after filing was so fast. I had a refund in my account within a few days.

Despite a complicated tax situation, it is so easy to fill out the forms. I feel confident in the results, as until we moved to Germany, I had done our tax preparation - for over 30 years - so I have some idea what to expect. Very satisfied customer!

Have you ever dealt with a company that just left you *deeply* frustrated after almost every interaction? Like… repeatedly taking weeks to respond and then “answering” concrete questions with general information that does not address them (non-answers). This is that company. The software seems okay. Or not? One of my questions was about an observed inconsistency in the *software*, and they asked me to upgrade if I want an answer. Frustrating service? Absolutely! Does the fairly pretty software have problems lurking inside? Who knows… unless you pay for the answer. Deeply, deeply frustrating.
