Best dentist ever
Every visit the staff are so friendly, helpful and polite. Everyone in the building are always happy to help. There is a lovely atmosphere. I am actually scared to go to the dentist, bit here I am so much at ease and the dentist Daniel is amazing. All.the staff from the reception the nurses and the dentist are 5 star. My Dentist, Atherton Road, Hindley, Wigan.
Well I don't like to do this about a company but my review is good for the dentist man Numaan that I saw BUT a bad review for the company overall.
I saw Numaan today for a regular check up. Once again, he was very thorough, helpful, kind, respectful and very knowledgeable.
On my visit I learned that Numaan was leaving the practice next month and this is due to no fault of his own BUT the company have decided to get rid of him which is absolutely crazy. He is an asset to this company in which I also mentioned that on one of my previous reviews.
How the company can let a good, decent dentist like Numaan go is beyond me. This man has built a good relationship with his patients and I for one will be extremely sad to see him go.
I've been registered with this company when Mr Van Birch owned it so as you can see, I've been registered with this practice for at least 40 years.
Fair enough, dentists come and go in which I've seen over the years but for a company to get rid of a decent dentist is absolutely shocking.
This man has been committed to the company and his patients for 2 years.
I've also recommended alot of new patients to Numaan and I doubt that these patients will stay with the company now that he's leaving.
This is very sad and a bad, crazy decision made by the management team. Absolutely shocking!

What I like about My Dentist is everything is conducted in a friendly and professional manner in a pleasant environment. I would not recommend this practice.
The dentist herself was very professional, kind, and did a good job. I have no complaints about the treatment I received from her.
However, the reception staff at the Queensferry branch were very rude and unhelpful. It felt like customer service was not a priority.
My biggest concern is their charging policy. They are already an expensive dental practice, but if you pay a deposit and, for genuine reasons, cannot attend your appointment, you lose your deposit. On top of that, they may also charge you an additional missed appointment fee. This feels excessive and unfair.
If you decide to use this practice, make sure you fully understand all of their cancellation and missed appointment charges before booking.
There are many other dental practices in the area, so I would recommend comparing your options first.

We're sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience at reception. Providing a friendly and helpful service is important to us, and we're disappointed to learn that this was not your experience.
We would also like to clarify that our cancellation policy is explained when appointments are booked. Patients who need to cancel or rearrange an appointment are asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a late cancellation fee, and missed appointments are chargeable as the appointment time has been reserved specifically for that patient.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and if you would like to discuss your experience further, please contact the practice and ask to speak with the Practice Manager, who will be happy to listen to your concerns.

Beware this money grabbing firm!
The staff, especially including the medical staff, do their best to grow your bill. Don't expect a simple check-up or hygienist clean for which you may have paid up front, to be the end of it. In my experience they will manufacture reasons for you to under go more mostly costly work.

There would be no point in my discussing it with the practice manager as it was that person I overheard discussing me on my last visit. The comments I overheard were to the effect that if I can afford to have an American Express credit card I must be able to pay more.
