😤 Scamming Customers Over a £2.89 Humidity Pack – Never Again! 😤
My experience with Mycigarorder.com has been an absolute disaster, culminating in them destroying our customer relationship over a minuscule £2.89 item. This company demonstrates a shocking level of negligence and obtuse customer service.
📦 The Broken Order & Late Shipping
I ordered a box of 12 x 60g 65% Boveda humidity packs and even paid extra for next-day shipping, only for the item to arrive late. When I opened the package, I discovered they had sent a clearly open-box item. The original packaging was torn and taped back together, and worse, one 60g Boveda pack was missing (meaning I received 11 instead of 12). I am now also concerned about the age/quality of the packs, as this was clearly an old stock item in the previous blue/white box design.
📞 The Failed Customer Service
I had to pay to call them on their non-toll-free 084- number, as this crucial detail was not clearly posted.
The woman on the phone promised to call me back—she never did.
I resorted to emailing them, simply asking for the missing one single 60g Boveda pack to be shipped to complete my order.
🤦 The Obtuse "Resolution"
Instead of apologizing for the missing, late, open-box item, and sending the single £2.89 pack I requested, they completely ignored my request for the item. Their "solution" was to just issue a partial refund of £2.89.
This was not the solution I asked for. I wanted the complete box of packs I ordered and paid for. Their failure to listen to a customer's simple, reasonable request for a missing product, choosing instead to issue a small, unsolicited refund, is frankly insulting and shows they do not value their customers' time or satisfaction.
All they had to do was listen to me and send the missing pack.
Conclusion: I strongly advise against using this company. They will incinerate their relationship with you over a small item and demonstrate an appalling lack of common sense and service.
