There was a slight hiccup with my order but this was absolutely no trouble whatsoever for the team. Everything was sorted asap and I was more than happy with the outcome. Would definitely recommend buy for the guy and won’t hesitate in buying from them soon.

BFTG just sent me an email inviting me to leave feedback here. No doubt this was automated as I can’t imagine Philip Bellwood at Buy For The Guy would have any interest in my recent experience dealing with him.

After placing an order I was informed they only had some of the items in stock but could partially complete the order and refund the outstanding balance. That was absolutely fine, I accepted.

10 days after I received my order I sent a polite email reminder to Philip Bellwood regarding my refund, in case I’d been forgotten. He didn’t reply. A week or so after that I emailed a reminder again. No response. Another week goes by and I emailed again and I firmly requested my refund. No refund and no communication.

I tried phoning. The phone number on the site doesn’t work.

I had to resort to filing a disputed goods and services form with my bank. First time I’ve ever had to do this. I got my money a few days later through the claims process with zero communication from Philip Bellwood.

Having ordered several times from 'Buy for the Guy', I have found them to be super reasonable on price and Delivery is very reasonable and works well.

This company took my money for a product that was "out of stock". After an exchange of emails I agreed to try a small amount of an alternative product while waiting for my original order to be fulfilled. Three months later and still no sign of either my order or a refund. On top of this they have totally ignored all of my emails on the subject. Customer service of the absolute very worst!

Goo product at a good price (considering UK tabacco market). Great service and customer response.

i am sorry to say with the price increases on pipe tobacco especially the tobacco i like its gone up 60 to 80 pence per 25g and one of my favourites shot up buy £2.60 per 50g and no free posting for orders over £50 and no discount i was getting for my orders has put more expense to my orders .i did like ordering from you but now no discount which should be a minimum 5% not 3% then nothing .and free posting for orders over £50 and my one of my favourites has an extra £1 on top of the increase as it use to be £14.40 now £17. now i have to look else where for my pipe tobacco which i didnt want to do but with everything taking away and price increases isnt helpful especially for loyal customers

It took weeks and weeks for part of my order to arrive. Now weeks later I am still waiting for the rest of my order to arrive, or to get a refund. Despite numerous emails and messages on FB I have only had one email back saying they would chase the order up for me. The phone number on the website does not exist. I would not recommend ordering from this company
