Easy to arrange

Good service with a few hiccups…

They picked up the boxes in Virginia on the day promised. The boxes cleared customs with no problems This may sound petty but they delivered the boxes a day early at the last possible promised time. So I had to change my plans that day to wait for the delivery. The other issue I had was they roped me in with an introductory price that soon went up by 30%.

Super easy, convenient, affordable

Picked up from my home in Atlanta during the stated pickup window and dropped off at my new home in the Netherlands 6 days later. Cheaper than checking the bags on my flight over and I didn’t have to drag them through the airports and trains.

Convenient and Fast service

It took three days for the standard service from Germany to London. The driver was very kind and helped me with my bag down the stairs. My bag was 0.5kg over the limit but there was no issue. Overall I loved the service and would definitely use it again in the future.

I was charged double what the normal…

I was charged double what the normal amount was the customer service is terrible and now im liable for a £200 bill to get my old clothes after paying $555 to ship 1 suitcase to the uk so its basically cost me over $1000aud. Iv got a flight and a hotel in Vietnam for $400 I also brought a suitcase and a carry on bag. All im saying if you dont want to get ripped off DO NOT USE mybaggage.com.

This is my reply to my baggage.
A normal charge on your website states $379 for shipping 1 30kg suitcase. Its only when you get to the payment section that 3 different extra charges are added on top of the $379 to bring the total bill upto $555 which i habe photo eveidance of. You tried to have my reviews removed as false information as I got an email from trust pilot telling me this. You also do not let customers know that the tor1 forms need to be filled out atleast 2 weeks prior before pick up to avoid any charges with ul customs aswell as them having to pay uk duty tax ontop of the final bill weather its being refunded or not I will still be out of pocket and have to fill out more forms for refunds which takes time out of my day and losses precious buisness hours when I could be doing other more important work.
All in all once I get this £200 customs bill i will have spent close to $1000aud to ship some old clothes from aus to the uk. I have a right to leave an honest review without the fear of my baggage trying to take it down from trust pilot as iv had back and forth emails with the customer service at my baggage they have not been helpful in the slightest not willing to take on any of the responsibilities of trying to make their customers happy only trying their hardest to delete my negative 1 star reviews. I now see why there arnt many 1 star reviews for this company only 5 stars. So I hope who ever reads this that the honest review of this company has helped them make a better choice

Hi Aaron, thank you for your review and for using My Baggage. We can see you shipped one item from Australia to the UK and were charged the correct amount for your shipping costs.

It is incorrect to say that you were charged double than a normal customer as this is not what has happened. Your shipping costs have not changed and you have been in touch with our customer service team regarding potential customs fees which are not controlled by neither My Baggage or any courier.

We make all customers aware that shipping costs are separate to potential customs fees. You have not been ripped off and we are disappointed with this false allegation.

Customs are a government agency and will assess all shipments entering the country internationally. It is rare for high customs fees to be imposed on used personal effects returning to the country however the majority of your shipment contains items that were purchased in Australia and are entering the UK for the first time.

Your shipment has not arrived in the UK to be physically inspected by customs however if they have any additional requirements or questions, the courier may reach out to you on their behalf.

You have advised our team that you did apply for a TOR which helps gain customs relief for shipments entering the UK however you have not yet finalised this process - the TOR process is solely controlled by UK HMRC. Once you have received your TOR number, this can be used to investigate if any applicable customs duty can be reduced or removed.
