That company is a scam

That company is a scam. So I wanted to watch a movie. I had watched some of it and of course it stopped when I really was into the show so I went in to get the app. So when you click get. It says you need to pay so I go into pay and then it acts like something went wrong so you do it again then it acts like something went wrong so you do it again and it never works. Then you open your bank account and you see that each time you tried to install that app it took a random amount out of your account until your account was so negative it wouldn’t allow anymore withdrawals. I just got through talking to my bank, and hopefully they will find in favor of me when they finish the fraud case against this scam of a company. It’s a scam. Please don’t do it. I don’t know where all these other reviews are coming from giving it a five star four star that’s a scam too. Makes me sick.

New User Experience

Note to readers: I do not pay for a subscription, so I cannot give my opinion on anything that concerns one.

I had forgotten how to switch off the "auto-unlock" feature and reached out via the online chat. After going through one or two prompts, I connected with Maksym who explained how the feature could be turned off. They were clear, friendly, and fast. Couldn't ask for better service.

I have been using/watching MyDrama for about a week and there's very little to criticize about the app and website as far as problems are concerned. The only issues I've run into is, occasionally, when an episode transition it buffers or freezes, but the fix only takes closing the app and opening it again.

There are features that would be nice to have, but are not crucial:
- Having a way to turn off auto-unlock without having to run out of coins first.
- A way to manually remove shows from the continue watching list
Content adjacent items that could improve experience:
- Show landing page that gives a full synopsis of the story and buttons that let you add to the "favorites" or "to watch" lists
- Episode count or something that says whether the show is complete or if episodes are still being released

Accessibility is important to me. While the app has a decent subtitle feature, it may benefit some with vision limits to be able to customize the subtitle settings, such as font size, thickness of letters, or a possible background to provide a contrast in case a light background obscures the white letters.

Overall, I'm happy with this app and it's content. I believe it and the company are just getting started. I can't wait to see what happens next.

All of the drama shorts look real when…

All of the drama shorts look real when you watch them on My Drama app; as if you’re watching an actual movie. They are very good quality. I would definitely recommend this app to family and friends. Now the coins and subscription is a little costly but I am not complaining. This is a good app.

I would leave 0 stars if I could

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I will be filling a complaint with the bbb as well. I agreed to pay $8.49 for a 2 week subscription. They immediately charged me 14.99 and 15.99 back to back AFTER the 8.49 charge. They are scammers and taking money from innocent customers. BEWARE. I am not the only person this has happened to from what I’m reading. I filed disputes with PayPal but from what I am reading they will side with the seller and not me. Lesson learned. I will never subscribe to another movie subscription.

The acting is great

The acting is great, the scene, the script...Everything is awesome!
Though, I prefer all of the Ukrainian actors! Their stories I only I watch. Not those in which are actors whose mother language is English, I tried it but I don't like how they act. They look artificial to me.
The Ukrainians are natural.
Man...they just slay!

Very bad company

Very bad company! Misleading information given offering a trial of £5.99 they then take more payments that are unauthorised once they have your bank information . Content even though paid for is inaccessible. They are also really rude and contra-sending in customers service. They should loose any licence they have to trade!

I was charged €15.99, €14.99 and €6.99 on the same day without my consent.

I paid for 1 week Premium subscription…

I paid for 1 week Premium subscription (EUR 6.99), received a confirmation email that my subscription is Active, and several seconds after, they charged my card with a Welcome Subscription of EUR 15.99.

As I contacted the support team, they said: “all charges on your account were made during your visit to our website. When pop-up offers appear, selecting Continue Purchase confirm transaction”

So they are using a pop-up offer for a new amount (not shown ) which only misleads you.

Overpriced Scam

I signed up and was charged 9 bucks right away. 14 days later, I was charged another 26 bucks. I had no idea I would be charged again, and so soon, for continued use. When I tried to cancel and ask for a refund, the terms indicated my reason for the refund was invalid. Total scam. I intend to dispute this with my bank. And I would not recommend this app.
