📱😵💫 MOUS – when the marketing hits harder than the actual quality 😵💫📱
Wow… I’m seriously torn about this case 😅
And not just “a little unsure.” No no. I’m torn like a camping chair at a music festival on day 4 🪑😂
I bought a MOUS case and screen protectors for my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and when you spend almost £90 on a case and two pieces of glass 💸 you don’t expect something that’s just “okay.”
You expect your phone to survive a minor meteor strike ☄️📱
And to be fair — the case actually feels really nice 👏
The materials feel premium, it fits perfectly, and you get that “wow, this is serious quality” feeling for the first few days.
BUT…
The screen protectors?
Oh. My. God. 😵💫
I’ve literally woken up to cracks in the glass without even dropping the phone. No action movie moments. No mountain climbing. The phone has basically just been lying still like a retired dad watching the evening news 📺😂 — and somehow the next morning the screen protector looks like a bus window after a Friday night in Aalborg 🚍💥
And that zoom/camera button on the side?
It feels like a feature somebody invented five minutes before the deadline 😅
It’s clunky and half-baked — like putting a spoiler on a Fiat Panda and calling it Formula 1 🏎️😂
But honestly, the biggest issue is this:
MOUS tries REALLY hard to be premium.
The ads scream “elite,” the YouTube videos show phones being thrown off bridges 🚀 and the whole brand acts like it’s the Rolex of phone cases.
…but when the screen protector cracks from hearing a door slam 🚪💀 the illusion starts falling apart a little.
And customer service?
I genuinely think it’s easier to get a response from a carrier pigeon 🕊️😅
To be fair:
The case itself is decent quality.
But it is NOWHERE near the level their pricing suggests. Reddit and other reviews seem super divided too — some people love them, others think it’s pure hype.
And honestly, that’s exactly how I feel:
MOUS has become a brand that sells the feeling of premium far better than the actual product.
Nice website. Nice marketing. Nice packaging.
But the product?
It feels a bit like buying business class… only to discover you’re still sitting next to the airplane toilet ✈️😂

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service, my Mous Clarity 2.0 was badly damaged after years of being dropped, so I got in contact with Mous and within 2 business days I received a new phone case through the warranty. Fast response, easy warranty process. Real great.
Reliable Warranty
I bought a phone case from them, and a year and a half later the camera control button fell off. Because of their warranty, they mailed me a new one for free, I didn’t even have to pay shipping! I know some companies say they have a warranty but do everything they can to not comply with it, but this was quick and easy.

I purchased a Limitless 5.0 case for my pixel 8 back in 2024. Generally I was very happy with the look and feel of the case as well as the magsafe feature. However after few years of use, the case became loose and it didn't feel like it would protect my phone if I ever dropped it. I wasn't sure if the warranty was going to cover something like this especially after few years of use but I filled the online help and support form anyway asking for a replacement. It was straight forward, I also recorded and uploaded a short video to demonstrate the issue. I received a reply from the support team over the email on the next day. They sent me a link where I browsed the available cases for my phone, I confirmed which one I want and a few days after that they've shipped the replacement case. Meg from the support team was very polite and had a great can do attitude. The entire exchange was very easy, probably the best customer service experience I've ever had.
I will definitely continue to use the brand.

Bad experience
Bad experience. I’ve used this company multiple times before and it’s always been great. The products are really high quality and if everything goes smoothly I highly recommend
However with my latest order one phone case arrived bent and this is normal according to them. I order two cases just different colours and the other one was perfect
One of the items didn’t arrive to. They replied to my emails within 24hr and now they have stopped responding all together I really hope it gets sorted

I had an issue with an expensive screen protector that was very difficult to show on photographic evidence alone. However, I was sent a free replacement, so an excellent result from an excellent company!
Awesome customer experience
I still haven't received the products, so this rating is simply about the customer service.
My country's Tax Authority charged me both customs and VAT fees, although I had already paid VAT when I purchased the products from Mous.
After getting in touch with Mous' customer support, I pretty much immediately received a reimbursement of these extra unexpected costs. Obviously I'm pleased with this outcome and will continue recommending and purcashing their products. Thanks! :)
Excellent Mous customer service
Following my leaving a negative review of the wireless charging stand not saying it requires Mous' power adapter, I was reached out to by Mous customer service and proceeded to have the best customer service experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Mous and hopefully they sort the small issue with the wireless charging stand. The stand itself is of incredible quality and now that I have the power adapter it works brilliantly and I am incredibly happy with it. I cannot sing the praises of the customer service team enough!
