Faultless , from start to finish professional and friendly. This is my second purchase from Motorpoint and would definitely recommend, and would buy from there again

The overall purchase from start to finish was great, the only thing that stopped a 5 🌟review was that I missed my cut off time of 5pm to get the car insured so had to take out a 24hr temporary policy. Would highly recommend Motorpoint.

Sales person was great. Good selection of cars. Relaxing area to have a free coffee and a think.

On 4th October 2026, ​I reserved a 2023 Nissan X-Trail Tekna (SE23WXM) through Guy Seal, a salesman at Motorpoint Burnley. At that time, the vehicle was at their Glasgow showroom so I paid the £199 transport fee and prepared my trade-in. What followed was four weeks of utter incompetence, systemic logistics failure, broken promises, and shocking customer service.
​I was provided with a date of 15th October to view the car at Burnley but just one day before the scheduled viewing, I was informed by Guy that the car was delayed in Scotland due to a flat 12V battery and so had not been loaded onto the transporter. I was assured that it would arrive in Burnley the following week and I specifically asked to see it before the 23rd October. Having not heard anything for over a week, I had to chase Motorpoint up myself only to be told again by Guy, that the battery had failed a second time on the compound in Glasgow, on the 19th October, causing yet another delay while transport was canceled.
​I raised my concerns with the General Sales Manager in Burnley, Tom Morrison, who personally assured me the vehicle had now been fitted with a new battery, was being personally monitored by him and would be transported directly to Burnley for a final deadline viewing by the 26th October.
​Today, on the day of the viewing, I received a call from Tom Morrison, expressing his embarrassment, that Motorpoint’s logistics team sent the car over 200 miles in the wrong direction to their Newport branch in Wales, instead of Burnley. Worse still, the Newport branch accepted the car and it is now listed online for sale on their website!
​This has resulted in almost four weeks wasted, constant chasing, empty managerial promises, and a complete breakdown of basic logistics. Motorpoint Burnley has demonstrated total disrespect for a customer's time and money. If you are considering reserving or transferring a car with them, save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. Unprofessional from start to finish.

Motorpoint Burnley- hang your heads in shame! Spent just shy of 2 hours buying a car only to be told sorry it sold online just after you walked in! Absolutely pathetic service , my advice would be avoid at all costs!

Terrible experience here, walked in at 10am, tried the car, verbally agreed to buy it, still doing to paperwork at 11.30 am to be told that actually the car was sold at 9.50 am. Why I wasn’t advised is beyond me, to think your walking away with a car that you have the keys in your hand for to be told it is sold online is more than disappointing. Manager offered a half arsed apology but didn’t take any accountability.

The salesman was helpful, knowledgeable and very easy to deal with, no pressure selling at all. In a few years time, if changing my car, I would return to Motorpoint Burnley knowing that I would get agreat deal.

Great, helpful service from Matty. He managed to source the model we wanted from their Castleford branch. Everything went really smoothly with good communication. Delighted with the car and would highly recommend

Bought a Citreon about 6 months which should have never been sold due to it having a recall to Citreon for air bags over 2 years ago, so obviously moto point haven’t done there work properly.
All this means my insurance was nil & void.

Great car easy to deal with including the part exchange

The whole process of trading in my car and receiving my new car was handled seamlessly. Everything was explained carefully and it was completed quickly and easily, even despite a technical issue on the IT system, all handled excellently by the salesman Ryan Harris, who was very helpful. Would definitely recommend Motorpoint Burnley.

Large choice of vehicles. Good prices. Helpful sales staff. Buying a car has got a lot more complicated and they can help you through the process.

All the team were amazing and the deal was great, just need to work on the handover experience, my car had only the very basic of cleans and even the basic controls weren’t explained.

We recently bought a car from Motorpoint Burnley branch.
Our experience was excellent throughout the whole process. We visited the branch on a number of occasions prior to purchase and all staff were consistently very welcoming, polite and helpful.

We dealt with an advisor named Rob who couldn't do enough for us - he was friendly, courteous and happy to go the extra mile, He was in no way pushy or persuasive, giving us all the time we needed, whilst treating us as individuals and recognising our specific needs. The car we chose was at another branch so we had it brought over to Burnley which was no problem at all. After viewing, we decided the car was perfect and arranged a pick-up date.

However, the day before we were due to collect it, we had a call from Rob who said there was a warning light on the dash which had been dealt with but re-lit. With that, he advised us against it and asked us to return to view other options. Luckily there was the exact model in stock (different colour) which turned out to be perfect.

The whole process from start to finish, whilst taking some time, was very positive with an outcome that we are totally delighted with. Rob stayed with us throughout, helping, advising and keeping us fully informed. He was not happy that we drove away in the first car which had a fault and was totally honest in telling us so - for that we are incredibly grateful. Rob made our entire experience memorable in the best way, he even shared with us the brand of coffee served as it was excellent!

If anyone is considering visiting Burnley branch of Motorpoint, don't hesitate, and whilst all the team there are great, ask for Rob!
