Absolute CON
Selling my Aunties car through Motormoolah, and got their "guaranteed" offer of £9085. Spent time taking all the photo's and sent them through, They were happy to confirm their offer and arrange collection of the car. They turn up and as agreed take the car for a 2 mile test drive, no issues with the car. Then he does an inspection and takes the same photo's that I have sent through. Claims there are scratches - - I can't see, and then says he was a detailer!! He Claims it has had a front end shunt - as he used to be a body shop technician- none of the original bolts had been disturbed. Only issue, that turned up, was the rear passenger door decided not to open!! Finds an apparent issue with the rear bumper - must have amazing eyesight, as the gap is the same on booth sides but claims it isn't.
Bear in mind this is an 8 year old car, but very few age related marks, only 28000 miles, after over an hour he says he has sent. detailed report to his boss, and whilst I expect a slightly lower offer than £9085, maybe £8750 due to rear door - the amazing offer is>>>>>>>> £7023!!!! Really, good job I know what's reasonable - this is even less than WBAC!!! It's a forecourt retail at £10950 all day long. How many people will just believe the bull from these guys!! Where is Motormoolah's guaranteed offer? Absolute waste of my time. How many people have been "conned" into taking the lower offer?
I would avoid!!!!!!
Update - rear door sorted - it was a key issue. So the rest is just a con !!

Avoid at all costs
Do I have to give 1 I’d like to give 0. Agreed on price then the agent stopped responding to me been 2 weeks trying to get the sale concluded and nobody ever responds

All talk no action
This company made me an offer slightly lower than a rival, then beat it slightly so I accepted. 6 weeks later I am still awaiting the collection and payment for my car. I have now spent £300 more on tax and insurance than I would of had to if I went with their rivals.
The customer service when you get hold of them seen extremely polite, but none of them will speak to me as I "have been dealing with Ben" yet Ben never answers and never returns my calls. Countless phone calls and messages left. Really disappointing.
UPDATE
They asked VIA Trust Pilot for my contact details, which I supplied and received no contact. Again, all talk no action.

Sold my car via motormoolah
Sold my car via motormoolah, price was excellent and process couldn’t have been smoother. Big thanks to both Jade and Pat
Outstanding Employee. Tee
This review is for an employee who picked up the vehicle, as we were very disappointed that we had £299 deducted from the original quote given to us.
A chap called Tee did the paperwork and bank transfers. Tee was exceptional - patient, professional, courteous, polite, and he was extremely confident in processing the paperwork.
Whilst we are very disappointed about the price drop, Tee is an asset to the business.
Please pass on my thanks!
Misleading process and retracted offers
Misleading process and retracted offers
I signed up through Motormoolah, but have the final offer managed by Big Motoring World. After going through the full valuation process and accepting a formal offer, the company retracted it, stating they "had too many in stock." This was after I had already committed to the sale based on their "guaranteed" pricing. If you are looking for a reliable, transparent sale, be aware that these two brands operate as one pipeline and may withdraw their offer at the last minute even after you've accepted. Very disappointing experience and a waste of time.

Aweful car selling experience
While selling car, my first point of contact was Ben. After agree on guaranteed valuation he sent me appraisal link said if I sent documents and photos within 24hrs, then I'll be given £100 incentive separately, not part of the valuation Invoice. Because appraisal link wasn't working I had to sent photos on WhatsApp. Your collection agent Sunny from Onyx, inspect the vehicle and quote me £1000 less than the valuation invoice. On that day, I tried to spoke with Ben but he was off hence spoke with a female agent who also discussed with Sunny regarding price he offered to me. Later, I was agreed with that £1000 less quote to original valuation invoice, then I received invoice & sold the car. Within all of these for more than an hour, neither a single person told me that £100 incentive is included in the price I was offered nor the invoice itself has any price breakdown. Because I was told incentive is not part of the invoice, I was expecting I'll be given it later time. Today, I spoke to Ben and surprisingly he said £100 is included the price I sold my car. I asked him if the incentive wasn't part of the valuation invoice then how it was counted as part of the selling invoice? But he kept saying it's already included. This is absolutely awful and complete lie. Not at all happy with all these third class, pathetic and ridiculous ways of doing business by making customers fool. Never recommend Motormoolah and Hilton Garage to anyone for sure, thinking about to take serious actions against this false practice.

From start to finish,it was an uncomplicated process. Imogen was very helpful and answered questions on WhatsApp promptly. On the day of the pickup,Amman contacted me to reassure me that he was on his way. He inspected the car and made me a satisfying offer, I had to sign some paperwork and the money was in my account within seconds...Thanks Amman, great service!
Reasonable Offer and Easy Process
Got a reasonable price for my Audi A3. Motormoolah did make some assumptions without photographs. They also advertised my car before I sold it for £2,100 more than their offer. I know they're in it for the money but it was a bit cheeky of them to do this without my permission. The bloke who collected it did an unbelievable inspection, taking pictures from a template for Hilton Garage who receive their cars from Motormoolah. He uploaded the pictures and then the haggling began. A drop in offer of £200 was agreed. Overall not a bad experience. I know they'll make a packet on the car but their offer, even after the drop, was the best out there. I'd use them again.
Great service and great staff.
The whole selling process is made simple and stress free thanks to the great staff, who are very helpful and friendly. They offered a great price for my car and I would be more than happy to use them again.
