Great value for money
I've been to a few MoreYoga locations and I find them pretty good - some are a bit crowded sometimes but most of them are fine.
They offer a quite good variety of classes, the only thing I'd say is that most pilates classes feel more like yogalates, but probably is expected from a yoga studio.
Overall a good experience and the membership price for what you get is pretty good.
Great classes, poor payment system and customer service
I've been going to classes at the new Battersea Studio for the past 3 months. The studio is lovely and I'm very pleased to have found a class with a wonderful teacher. They offer classes for all levels and great adaptations. It's a great place to start or continue your yoga journey.
However, if you pay any way other that by membership or single classes the payment system (app and website) is very poor. I have a multi-class voucher worth over £100 which I'm finding impossible to use (code not accepted etc) and customer services have not replied to me. Emails are regularly sent out to say that customer services are a small team and are not able to respond to emails within a reasonable time frame. This is such a shame. Whilst I appreciate the reasonable pricing you cannot run a business without providing an essential level of customer service.
36 Classes In – Why MoreYoga Is Worth It
I joined MoreYoga in mid-January, and since then I’ve attended 36 classes, plus a workshop (which was an additional £35). I’ve been really impressed by the extensive range of classes and studios available. The variety gives you the opportunity to experience different styles of yoga, including hot yoga and Pilates, which keeps things interesting and allows you to find what suits you best.
Although I naturally have my personal preferences when it comes to class style and teachers, every single class I’ve attended has been of a very high professional standard and excellent quality. All the teachers are clearly well-trained and experienced. Even when a class is led by a trainee teacher, they are transparent about it, and the quality remains very good.
So far, I’ve only attended the two studios closest to me, but I’m looking forward to exploring other locations as well, particularly to try more of the hot yoga offering.
In terms of quality and price, it’s a complete no-brainer at £44 a month. On top of that, their communication is excellent, and their policies feel fair and genuinely client-centred.
I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for affordable, high-quality yoga with plenty of choice.
Beware their 30-day cancellation policy…
Beware their 30-day cancellation policy if you sign up to their special offers - they’re sneaky and aren’t transparent about it - so if you think you’re doing their £1 for a month offer it’s actually 2 months minimum if you realise before they take the first months fee, otherwise add another months paid subscription. Really dirty tactics.
very experience staff and good…
More yoga offers excellent classes in a friendly peaceful environment. The teachers are fantastic and the sessions always leave me feeling refreshed. The classes are calming yet challenging and the instructors are supportive and knowledgeable.
Very experience staff and good interpersonal skill
proactive to solve issue.
ZERO STAR
ZERO STAR
Awful awful customer service. I signed up, went to one class, the class was overcrowded, smelly and so i did not attend any further classes. Subsequently, I lost my job, fell into depression, and asked to cancel the membership. Few days later, without a response, they charge me again. Money that i need for living expenses. For a company that promotes yoga, a practice that centers around empathy, kindness and community, this company has ignored ALL MY EMAILS bar one saying they canceled my membership. But no refund, no nothing. And yet still ignoring me. Disgusting corporate behaviour, and appalling for the service they provide. Reaching customer service is impossible. Ironically a few weeks back i received a txt msg to show compassion and patience as a member of the customer team had some personal issues. But compassion towards the customers? That doesnt exist clearly.
I love coming to Elena's MoreYoga-MorePilates classes at Winchmore Hill!!!
I love coming to MoreYoga Winchmore Hill, I attend for both pilates and yoga near daily. I especially love Elena's MoreYoga-MorePilates classes; I attend every single class. Elena's pace is amazing and really makes you challenge your body. The improvement I've had over the last 5 months is incredible, I feel amazing after every class. Wish more MoreYoga held more pilates classes.
Flexible and impressive yoga classes
I love the variety of classes and instructors. The class settings are always very relaxing. It's a good mix of routine and challenge.
Consent
The routine was really well constructed and I enjoyed that. Unfortunately I was very let down by the teacher Jamie. He did not ask for consent at the beginning of the class to touch the students. (which every other class I’ve attended has and I think is very important and makes a space feel safe).
For a restorative practise which is releasing a lot of tension and emotional energy trapped in the body; I felt uncomfortable that he put his hands on my body without asking.
I hope that this was a mistake and he usually asks but as a first timer for this class it really put me off going back. I recommend that this principle is applied in every class to avoid any other students feeling uncomfortable in a space that’s meant to be healing and relaxing.
Everything is fine until you try to…
Everything is fine until you try to cancel. I submitted my cancellation request on 30 November. Although my subscription technically ran until 22 December, I did not use the studio at all after cancelling. Despite this, the studio is now attempting to charge me for additional month, ie until 22 January. I approached the studio and received a push back. This is unacceptable and feels misleading. Based on this experience, I would not recommend MoreYoga.
Unauthorised Payment & Misleading…
Unauthorised Payment & Misleading Membership Practices
This company makes cancelling a membership unnecessarily difficult, effectively trapping you in a membership even if you don’t use it. If you ever cancel and later wish to rejoin, you are required to pay double.
Their website states that memberships can be frozen for up to three months. I requested a freeze due to being away and experiencing financial hardship, and I received written confirmation that it had been applied. Despite this, an unauthorised payment was still taken from my account.
I have not used the facilities during this period, and this payment should never have been taken. I am now having to chase a refund and confirmation that my membership remains frozen as agreed. The overall experience has been frustrating, misleading, and completely unacceptable.
The usual money grabbers
I went to a couple of classes at More Yoga Croydon and found the instructors to be way below standard. The room is also highly uncomfortable with running water from the building it is in constantly flowing. I personally don't like to hear the toilet flushing for an hour while I'm trying to do yoga. I also have a trapped nerve in my shoulder from one of the classes from a massive over-stretching which I didn't realise would be harmful to me. As usual they take your money anyway and make it unnecessarily technical about cancelling. I received no understanding from them.
Amazing
Amazing, affordable, quality yoga with a variety of frequent classes all over London. Their packages provide great deals that can be used all over London.
Feels too commercial
The teachers are great & the offer plentiful. But the place in Stamford Brooke feels damp, classes can feel crowded.
More to the point, the company is quite aggressive in its marketing, always sending you notifications and not enabling you to stop them through the app, which does not feel yogic at all!
Variety of classes at great value for money
I love MoreYoga London! They have such a variety of classes at affordable prices. My favourite is Scarlett Woodford's class in Stamford Brook! She goes where no one else goes. Can highly recommend.
Never got my order or a refund.
I bought a Zafu cushion through their website on 11 November, paid for a fast 48h delivery. I just received a confirmation of my order, nothing else.
I have been contacting them since the 23rd November and I'm still waiting to hear back. I haven't been given anymore news on my order nor have I been offered a refund although I asked.
I have spoken to 3 different people and nothing has moved.

Joining MoreYoga this year is the best…
Joining MoreYoga this year is the best thing I’ve done. I go very regularly and absolutely love it, I have found every different teacher to be excellent. Affordable yoga doesn’t mean a compromise on expertise or experience. I thoroughly recommend!
