The car we received was virtually new so no problem there.

The guy who collected us was really good right up to the point when he told us we had no insurance with the car.
I told him we had insurance through Zest. He disputed that and then went onto say that we could be responsible for the car being written of. Tens of thousands!
I phoned the broker (Zest) who informed me this was incorrect.
In addition we had already taken out an excess reimbursement policy with the RAC.

I pulled the guy over all of this and he told me he was just an employee. I also overheard the same tactics being used on the next desk to us.

This is clearly company policy by incentivising the reps to sell this insurance.

Despite the denials the company is well aware this goes on.

Excellent well priced service with friendly staff who get you ‘mooving’ quickly and efficiently from their off airport site. Just one word of warning - be ready for the hard insurance sell - In fairness all car rental companies do this but at least it was done by the Moovers staff I dealt with in a friendly informative way. Will certainly use this company again.

I have been travelling between the uk and Alicante over the last 10 years.
I have pretty much used every car hire company going. Without a doubt, the stand-out company has been Moovers. Excellent service from start to finish.
I was particularly impressed with their WhatsApp messaging service, which in my case, came into great effect when our flight to Alicante was delayed.

This is the best car rental company i. have used. I was picked up from the pick up location (floor minus 2 at the airport) and taken to the car rental place and there was no queue to pick up the car. One hint, you need to look for the pick up van with Moovers on it. I booked through a broker and at first I was looking for that name. On the return I put ‘Moovers Alicante Airport’ into Google maps and the sat nav took me straight there and again a streamlined process. Highly recommended!

Good price and fast service

We arrived at Alicante Airport on 21st of January and as we got our luggage from the carousel I got a call from Antonio in Moovers mobility lovers saying they would have a pick-up bus at the airport in 15 minutes, which they did.
We had booked a Hyundai Tuson automatic for 20 days, while going through the paperwork I was offered comprehensive insurance which I declined as I had deposit insurance, which they accepted without any fuss.
We got a free upgrade to a Mercedes GLA with only 2500 kilometres.
We had a great holiday and returned the car on time and got checked out very efficiently by very friendly staff.
We will definitely be using this company from now on and would totally recommend them.

I highly recommend Moovers mobility lovers. Everything was perfect and they had the best price for a car rental with full insurance. The staff is friendly and very helpful. When a car crashed into us in the parking lot, we contacted the Moovers staff and they advised us exactly what to do. They made it almost stress-free and helped us a lot. Our experience with Moovers was exceptional, fabulous communication throughout the process from upgrade options to pick up point at the airport. Short ride from the airport, spotless premises, very friendly staff - would no hesitate to book again. There are lots of car hire companies out there but Moovers went the extra mile with quality of vehicles and customer service!

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Moovers Car Rental that I feel compelled to share.
Firstly, they imposed a hidden fee for collecting the car after 11:00 PM, even though my flight was scheduled to land at 10:40 PM—a detail clearly stated during the reservation process. Shockingly, this fee was only communicated on the day of the booking, despite the reservation being made over two weeks in advance. The fees are buried in the terms and conditions and at no point are they presented clearly during the booking process.
The staff’s attitude was appalling, with Silvia, in particular, being outright rude and dismissive. Rather than addressing my concerns, they seemed determined to stonewall me.
When I escalated the matter, a supervisor called me to discuss the situation. After I explained my dealings with Silvia and expressed that I felt robbed by the hidden fees, the supervisor (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) took issue with my choice of words. He stated he didn’t like my expression and, astonishingly, also refused to accept my complaint.
The most egregious part, however, was Moovers' decision to cancel my booking without my consent, solely to prevent me from filing a formal complaint. Even after canceling the booking, they refused to allow me to submit a complaint. When I asked for my personal data to be deleted in accordance with GDPR regulations, they became completely non-responsive, demonstrating a clear violation of GDPR laws.
This company lacks professionalism, transparency, and accountability. I strongly advise avoiding Moovers at all costs. Their disregard for customers and the law is appalling, and no one should have to endure such treatment.
