The call in process was one of the best I have experienced in my 80 years. UPDATE (May 2026): Reopening the dispute was a stall tactic—Zero communication.

Do not be fooled if Momnt tells you they are "reopening" a dispute. They only said that to me after I bypassed front-line staff, reached a supervisor, and cited the FTC Holder Rule (16 CFR Part 433). Since that conversation, there has been absolutely zero follow-up and zero communication. They are completely ghosting a clear-cut case involving an unpermitted, code-violating installation backed by certified City of Plano records.

Before reaching a supervisor, my experience was defined by a total lack of transparency. Despite providing municipal records proving the merchant performed unpermitted, illegal work, Momnt’s front-line staff repeatedly told me to "talk to the merchant" and provided no updates.

It has become clear that I’ve had to start my own investigation and do their job for them. It is a disgrace and entirely unacceptable that a consumer must perform 100% of the investigative work, cite federal consumer protection laws, and prepare formal legal actions just to be met with total silence. Absolute lack of accountability.
