Be careful of your PayPal account
Be careful of your PayPal account, I received an email stating I had a subscription and then another stating it was cancelled. I did not subscribe to anything. I did a temu order though. I contacted PayPal to block any payments from them.

Yes and me too
Yep. I was scammed somehow. I think it was for an IQ test, advertised by Google ads, on the Guardian web site. Absolute rip off process. Guardian should be ashamed. Google would not care they are advertisong scams.

Did not subscribe but ended up with auto subscription
I made a purchase on Temu and somehow ended up with an auto subscription. I nade no application for this subscription. While I was advised that the subscription was cancelled after my contact, I was still billed $9.99 for initial subscription.

SCAM
hello I am getting the same scam and I don’t know what to do. I got charged $7.99 threes times in a span of a month out of no where by modo mobi and the weird thing was that the payments are on autopay. I tried to email paypal that the payment was unauthorized but they just blew me off and closed the case, and I emailed that company, and they are fabricating lies that I have signed up to their subscription and paid using paypal. The funny thing is that I don’t even live in the UK, nor do I even know what this company does other than scamming people.
I somehow ended up with a paid…
I somehow ended up with a paid membership through PayPal and I don't remember doing it but that's not to say I didn't because accidents happen. I'm absolutely certain I wouldn't have intentionally for several reasons and the first is because I am on Social Security with no income and I can say with 110% certainty that if im left with the choice of paying rent to keep a roof over my head or pay $8 a week for a membership to a place across the Atlantic Ocean that appears to be about fitness im going with the shelter 10 times out of 10. If I was torn between the two, I would write down the pros and cons and wouldn't get farther than the first because I AM UNABLE TO WALK. No brainer. I'll hurry this up. I asked for all records that have anything to do with me, my account, and bank account but guess what. If you guessed that I got nothing including a response. The one that really makes me feel like they laugh when this sort of thing happens is you can start a membership without as much as a peep over the phone and the same goes for anything else they want. They just crank up the ol' internet and start taking but when you email them to cancel then *POOF*, the internet is suddenly not good enough and you have to call and that means you have to pay more money to stop spending money but i havent found out how much that is yet or if its boobie trapped. Exercise caution. Otherwise, you now have a life long membership like a bad tattoo you have to pay ANOTHER fee to have it on you. That's referring to the next charge called "international fee". The moral of the story is don't sign up. I might have a secret weapon up my sleeve, but for now I must continue on my mission and warn the others.
I had never heard of this company
I had never heard of this company, I’m not even in the UK, and I received an email from Paypal saying I had an ongoing payment agreement. Modomobi claims that I signed up but I didn’t. My subscription was cancelled but I was still charged AUD9.99 once. Scam that came out of nowhere.
SCAM
SCAM. We need to find out how they are handshaking with the networks to take our money. The networks are culpable also for allowing dual billing.
Scam! £5.99 payment stolen from me
Just noticed a £5.99 payment taken by these jokers from my bank account via PayPal. I have no recollection of signing up for any subscription of this amount - it's so underhand and dishonest when people are really struggling financially. I bought something on Temu recently so it could be something to do with that based on other reviews here. Make sure you go into PayPal and cancel the subscription immediately.
just been scammed
just been scammed. I was tricked into Filling out a form while on the TEMU app on the 21st Nov to earn a bonus discount. I've just been charged £5.21 for nothing. i want justice.
absolute scam.

To heck with Loaded Mobi
To heck with Loaded Mobi. This has to do with PayPal and I plan on going after them. I can't even afford milk. I have no money in a PayPal account and or my bank. If PayPal doesn't resolve this problem, I will sue.

Scammers created a paypal reoccurring payment some how and stole $9.99 AUD from my account and PAYPAL have refused to provide any evidence of communications with the scammers and just closed the case without contacting me.
Edit: And this is what they tell paypal. They've entered their info into our website and have All magicly forgotten they did it, it's been happening for over 5 years to all your customers that's such an amazing coincidence.

Absolut scam
Absolut scam! Entered some details to get a free voucher, ended up being charged £5.99 weekly for no reason. I've cancelled automatic payment on Paypal but not sure how to get the money already taken back. Gutted!
SCAM - MODO MOBI Ltd.
Got charged $8.99 CAD for a service I NEVER signed up for, luckily PayPal confirmed they cancelled it. On the downside, I still owe them 8.99 bc I (stupidly) connected my back account to my PayPal account. Do not make the same mistake I did.
They are theives
I was charged 40 euro by this company and they took the money without authorisation and kept on taking the money weekly, I eventually stopped it but they took 240 euro from my account. I am going to take this business to court and I will make sure that they rot in jail those thieves. For anyone who wants to try this avoid.
