Buyer Beware: Difficult Returns and Inaccurate Photos

The mirror I purchased from Modest Hut appeared significantly different in person than depicted on their website. The actual gold finish was very bright and "loud," contrasting sharply with the subtle and tasteful appearance in their professional product photos. I requested a return, which took two weeks and several mixed messages from their representative to process. I wasted a lot of my time and energy on this communication!
The return was finally accepted with conditions: I had to cover return shipping costs and pay a restocking fee, totaling over $100—more than half the price of the mirror! This entire process felt unprofessional. Potential buyers should be aware of this return policy and potential discrepancies in product imagery. You may find better experience and similar items with companies that offer more professional customer service.
