So easy to use and great colour …

I loved the ease of uploading images and the colour reproductions are fantastic! Also, the turn around time is really fab. I am very impressed with Mixam and plan to use you for all my zines.

The process was easy

The process was easy, and the final product was good. It may have been me, but I did not see a lot of options for the book cover. As I was making a family heirloom, I would have appreciated a few premium options.

Excellent print job

I ordered a custom size hard cover children’s book for my grad thesis project. Initially it said it would arrive on April 13th but instead it arrived nearly a week early. The quality of the job exceeded expectations. The glossy hard cover looks professional. The printers also did an excellent job respecting my exact trim size. As a designer I would recommend Mixam.

Print quality was off

Wanted to see the poster print capabilities – found alignment off, the colours were pretty muted. I'll have to try something else to see if it's the norm – or if something was askew.

Getting colours exactly how you expect can sometimes be a little tricky, as things like paper type, RGB vs CMYK setup, and ink saturation can all have an impact. We do have a helpful guide here that might be useful:

good ordering process, printing error on one of my two editions

the ordering process and ability to preview the photobook was all amazing and went smoothly, and being able to receive relatively consistent responses to questions or concerns was helpful as well.
i ordered two hard cover copies of a photobook I made, and while the overall image quality was great and matched the photos I had on my computer there were small scratches across the covers, even when they were wrapped and tightly packaged which makes me assume they weren't handled carefully before shipping.
however what was most disappointing was one of the books had some pretty large printing errors on a few of the images that was far more than just the colours being a bit inconsistent. one of the images has an obvious line down the middle where the colours are offset on the same photo: more cool toned on one half and warmer toned (like it was meant to) on the other half.
Two other images also have some vertical text which I have no idea what might have caused it to appear. the text is faint on one of the images but stood out quite a bit on the other, which was incredibly disappointing to see.
I am happy with the one photobook without the errors, however these errors I've described appearing on the other photobook feel like a pretty severe mishap and I feel would warrant a re-print.

Amazing Customer Service

We ordered 400 copies of our magazine and booked a launch party 2 weeks after the estimated delivery date. When our order came, a week late, the copies were misprinted. In the span of 5 days, the Mixam customer service and production team reprinted all 400 copies perfectly and shipped them to us with a whole day to spare. Danielle and Sheila were very helpful. Maria was amazing, ensuring I was kept informed every step of the way, updating me with production status frequently, and even calling me to check in after the packages were delivered. While we were originally worried about this misprint, the customer service team was SO kind and SO efficient that we would absolutely order again. 5 stars because, although accidents happen, their team made sure to resolve everything in time. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Highly Recommend!!

The communication before my book went to production was great! Mixam made sure that everything was in order and I felt like they had great attention to detail. The product I received itself was amazing! I was so happy when I opened the box and held it in my hands. It was also quite a bit ahead of schedule. Thank you!
