Full replacement of malfunctioning SmartKeg!
My smartkeg wasn't able to cool to 5 degrees centigrade. I submitted a help request and just now received the message my current keg will be replaced, which is great.
Why not 5 stars? The response took a little time but then again, THIS outcome within 8 days from reporting the issue is fine with me :)

Thanks for the honest review. It took bit longer as our service engineer investigated the issue first. During the investigation many logs were checked and internally the options were discussed.
After almost 1 week, we decided to replace the keg instead of offering a repair. We hope that the new keg gives many new brews.

The amazing brew system for apartment
I had been researching for brew system since 2018. Checked most known names, but there was a blocker for me. They all took too much space and produced too much volume which is unneeded for my brew experiments. Then I found this startup which offered the perfect set - 3 kegs which used as kettle and tanks with only 5.5l of ready product. So each time when I fail to make something there was little sorrow to dump "unsuccessful" idea. later with time I appreciated ability to do a pressure fermentation and absence of transferring beer from one keg to another

You won't regret it if you love beer
Superb piece of kit. Took me from never had brewed to owning a small brewery in three years. Produces absolute top class craft beer. I must have brewed 100+ beers on my four legs and it's the easiest machine to experiment without guilt if it doesn't work out. I don't know how any brewer doesn't have one. Top work

Brewing your own beer is a more awesome experience. Coming up with the recipe, grinding the malt and then you put everything into the Minibrew and it then does the mashing and fermentation. Wonderful device.

No Machine neither reimbursement so far
I ordered the machine 1 year ago, with the promise that I would be delivered within 3 months. After 2 months, I got an email saying that It would take another 3, for which I asked a refund. They told me that in the small letters of the contract, says that they can KEEP your money for 40 weeks, which is stated, but I didn't communicate to a lawer back then and decided to wait.Now a year has passed, asked my money back, I got an answer that they might be able to send me an old version of the machine, but said no, I want my money back and waited for a year for this. After 10 days, they still didn't answer any of my emails.
I'm forced to start a legal demand with my lawer now.
I strongly advise anyone considering buying something from them, not to.
Update:The company contacted me the day after my public complaint here. Mentioned that they were going to refund me..so far nothing (3/4 days have passed)
Final Update: got reimbursed after 12 days.
My conclusion is that people who got the machine, seems to be satisfied about it. This is, if you are willing to wait a year or more for delivery. Also if you accept the fact they keep your money for a year.
Last remark, not quite happy with the reimbursement management, felt that they paid attention to me when making noise in trust pilot. Something they have to work on.

When it became clear we couldn't fulfil the order you placed, we offered our current and more expensive model (GEN 2) for the same price as GEN 3 or a refund. We received your request of a refund.
Back in the days, we received many inquires and were not able to handle your refund request within 5 working days. In between we received a 1 star review from you.
We've improved our messaging regarding refund request as well update our refund policy in our help center so other are better aware of the process.
As the refund is settled, we hope to see back when we've stock in place.

Shipping for the brew kit is $300.
It took 5 years to receive receive the minibrew and the shipping for the brew kit is about $300. So, the brew kit is about $25. With $300. Shipping? So, it is sitting in the box taking up space in my garage.

I checked your order and no shipping cost are charged. MiniBrew has covered the shipping cost as you backed us via crowdfunding platform Indiegogo in 2017. As you were one of the first backers, we decided to cover the current shipping cost. Perhaps you mean import cost, which is likely local VAT.

Product is excellent, service is crap
Right up front: The MiniBrew system is excellent!
I have meanwhile five kegs and brewd so far nearly 50 beers with them. No issues, now flaws, great beer, easy to handle. If you know how, you are able to tweak the brewing process to your likings.
However, I ordered one additional MiniBrew keg and it took 18 months for delivery. During the time I was told a few times, that the keg is now in stock and it will ship soon, but nothing happened.
And when it was finally shipped, it was shipped to my old address, which I changed in the MiniBrew order system twice and then, in addition I told the warehouse to be aware of the new address in a different e-mail, too. Did not work...
So, all in all, product is excellent, service is crap!
