Complete scum of a company

Scammed people out of thousands of dollars by removing paid ranks and giving a little <3 next to their name instead, and change ranks to monthly costs just because they technically can from their trashy TOS.

Admins are lazy and refuse to do their jobs, will sometimes say they will look into things and proceed to ghost you for months

They flag bad reviews on trustpilot to hide them so people don't see how scummy they are

Automated responses to the reviews, they completely ignore the community, muting anyone and everyone who speak out about any updates they make until people give up

Would not recommend, don't use this host

payed a couple hundred dollars for ranks, ranks told me i will be able to advertise once every 6 minutes. Now it has been changed to 2-3times a day (it cost me 120 dollars per rank, and i bought a couple)

This is genuinely the worst thing that has ever occurred. $120 dollars a month for Patron rank. Honestly, there are so many servers, like some I even work for, just dying now due to this update. This is absurd. It's just like when Trent leaves, the Admin team clicks full P2W mode. This feels like the beginning of more pay to get your server out there.
If we're going to pay hundreds of dollars a month for a rank just to advertise, we'd end up losing more money then gaining just to get the server out there.

Not to mention their overpriced servers. Their servers are absurdly overpriced by about ~50%. I'd much rather get an external server and hook it up to Minehut. Now I am not going to pay money to a service that I can get cheaper everywhere else, aswell as there is no specs listed, it just seems odd to leave it out.

Overall, scummy business, I highly recommend you don't join it.

minehut we got the update thank you but i just have another request for you people for java we can you the ips but for bedrock my friend cannot so please i ask of you minehut gods to make your app better to allow bedrock players to also be able to use the ips to join severs

I am deeply disappointed with Minehut's recent update that has drastically altered their approach to ranks. As a loyal customer, I feel let down by the company's decision and the negative impact it has had on my experience with their services.

They have removed all of the permanent ranks that I and many others have purchased, some of which costing upwards of $100, and replaced them with monthly subscriptions, which is a complete scam. I feel cheated and scammed out of my money as they promised the ranks were permanent, but now they have taken them away without any prior warning.

The recent update by the company is heavily skewed towards benefiting those who can afford to pay the exorbitant monthly fees of $100 or more for a rank per month, leaving behind the players who cannot. This policy has had a particularly negative impact on small teams and individuals who cannot compete with the larger, more established servers. In essence, this policy favors the rich and established servers, making it very difficult for smaller servers and players to thrive. It is a tragic state of affairs that is likely to lead to creators quitting the platform altogether.

Additionally, their response to negative reviews has been insufficient, with a generic message suggesting customers contact their support team or join their Discord server. Furthermore, they have flagged negative reviews as "harmful content," which is concerning and may violate Trustpilot TOS.

I strongly suggest that Minehut revert this senseless update and listen to their customers. Their recent decision is clearly driven by their greed and does not consider the impact on their customers. As it stands, I cannot recommend this hosting platform to others and hope that they will take steps to rectify this situation.

The update is actually senseless. Minehut knows they'll lose a lot of money from this.

Not everyone has a multimillionaire dad. There are lots of servers with lots of potential, without having $120 per month for a rank (which is absolutely insane) that'll get you a few kids on your server, and leave in a matter of minutes if it's not a box server.

Minehut doesn't do free advertisements like they claim they do, with 4 ads/month, you'll get 2 players per ad each of which one is a hacker and the other one is a horrible person.

Paid for a rank that they explicitly said was permanent around 2016, now they released an update that removed my rank. I paid real money for this. Minehut has turned into a scam.

I have purchased $200+ worth of ranks from Minehut and now I have been scammed out of my money. They removed the ranks I had which were permanent according to their website, and replaced them with monthly subscriptions.

They are also replying to all negative reviews with a generic response telling you to contact their support team or join their discord, It's useless cause they just ban/mute you if you try to talk about this on their Discord.

They are also flagging a lot of negative reviews as "harmful content" which is against freedom of speech and potentially illegal. I am no longer a happy customer.

Minehut, you used to be a good service everyone loved. Now you turned greedy and became a P2W host. Paying for server ads and buying a rank for 1200$ per year, removing previously bought ranks for 100$+ and giving me a little "🧡" icon as compensation is just absurd. I hope you guys realise that your making the community dislike you and revert this update back. Thank you Minehut.

They recently taken everyone's lifetime ranks + the server no longer works with latest Minecraft edition. It is a shame how down this server has gone!

I purchased a rank a few years back and the description for the rank on their webpage specified that said rank would be permanent. They explicitly stated that I can "buy a rank once, and it lasts forever!" On the date of my "experience", they released an update nullifying any value from my rank to push monthly subscriptions for something I already paid for. I am completely disgusted and my trust with this company has been completely obliterated. I have pursued all remedies via the discord server and may be forced to file a complaint with the FTC. If they wish to rectify this situation, they should either give all holders of permanent ranks lifetime access to subscription ranks or revert the update.

Unfortunately this server DOES NOT listen to the community. They removed everyone's paid ranks which costed hundreds and replaced them with monthly ranks. Whoever had a rank before was left with a dirty, useless rank, you are forced to buy the new monthly subscription rank to continue using /ad perks.

All in all, this is a very greedy company that makes poor decisions. I do not recommend you spend your time on this server.

I would not recommend Minehut to anyone. Their new owner is very abusive and does not act in the best interest of their customers. He bans anyone who exposes him and ignores questions he doesn't want to answer. Furthermore, their recent ranks update almost quite literally scammed many people out of hundreds of dollars, killing all small servers and removing a good way of advertising them unless you pay them money back, every month. To make matters worse, they are abusing the Trustpilot flagging system in order to flag many innocent negative reviews as harmful or illegal content. This is extremely unethical and shows a lack of respect for their customers. The poor customer service, combined with their shady business practices, make Minehut an absolute nightmare to deal with. Avoid it if you can.

Company keeps on making money grabbing changes a top of money grabbing changes, we get it your stock market is going down but Jesus this whole "we didn't take ranks away" is legit just a legal sentence you guys say, its all you say. You removed the perms of the ranks we purchased, then replaced them with a monthly subscription. Also RIP defaults jesus 4 ads a months isn't even 5 players, they'll never be make to run a server off advertising. Which kinda makes "only host with free advertisement" the same as me saying lifesteal servers aren't overrated these is only a couple of thousand of them at any time online :), also I've seen peoples negatives reviews getting flagged likely taking about the update.. I hope this trend doesn't continue...

the rank update fixed long standing problems

Minehut is free it's pretty good but sometimes it's not reliable as the host either crashes or website becomes not accessible a lot of down times.

Minehuts support is also really good and the support agents are really nice.

And I purchased PRO rank before the new update and I feel like the new update was executed poorly and I wish I could've still kept white chat and /ely on my og PRO rank.

There's been a lot of really good recent updates although hope to see subusers at some point in time.

I would give 5 stars but there's just a lot of inconveniences, bad updates, down times.

I also experience a lot of issues like lagging my pc when going to the website even for like a few seconds.

I paid hundreds on Minehut lobby ranks for them to change them to monthly ranks and removing every perk we paid hundreds for.

I feel completely ripped off and would advise staying away from Minehut at all costs after years of using the service to have this treatment is unacceptable.

Also, Minehut is abusing Trustpilot flagging system to hide these reviews.
