There is no way that these good reviews are real. After being with Mindbody for 2.5 years I can categorically confirm that it is not compatible with running a Wellness business. I am now embattled to try and get my data... I am leaving because MINDBODY has ruined my business and now you want to hold onto my data and charge me £400 for it. Diabolical. If it were suitable we wouldn't be leaving.

Honestly, never lose Bernard. He is a lifesaver. Truly. He is so responsive, and very patient. He is the most knowledgeable rep of a company. He knows Mindbody in and out, and if he doesn’t, he finds the answer and gets back to you right away.
Every time I work with Bernard, I know that I’m not only gonna get help and all my aunts. My questions answered, but also he will give insight and advice on areas that I can continue to improve and grow my business.

I'm sharing what I shared with Mindbody's CSM hoping it will be helpful for them and other people out there. Don't get me wrong, Mindbody is a good product, but I'm giving this score based on the onboarding process which they asked me to rate.
First, there was zero clarity regarding the onboarding process. At no point did our onboarding person explained exactly what onboarding was or what it entailed for us. We never fully understood whether it was a process managed entirely by Mindbody, by us, whether it was training, or if we just had to wait for the sessions so the person from Mindbody could show us their progress. The person leading the process didn’t explain anything to us; they just asked for a template with data during the first session and then told us what they’d done in the next one. We felt very confused the whole time, and on top of that, after each session they left us with unresolved questions, which they never addressed later or told us they’d look into—and then nothing came of it...
Lack of support throughout the process. We felt very much left on our own throughout the entire onboarding process. I even had to reach out to the person who sold us Mindbody to ask for help, after which their manager at Mindbody contacted me and said they had escalated the case internally; they even told us they had requested that our onboarding fee be refunded. After that, nothing happened.... The process wasn’t expedited, we weren’t assigned a different onboarding representative, and we weren’t called to offer additional help... We had to redo many parts of the setup ourselves; we even realized that basic things like tax settings weren’t configured, or the client health forms, which we had shared with Mindbody from the very beginning.
Excessive time between onboarding sessions. We find it disappointing that, despite understanding our situation and the urgency we had to migrate the system, they always made us wait more than a week between each onboarding session, without access to any specific training and only able to resolve questions via email. And going back to point one, that week would pass, and we’d arrive with more questions that we didn’t have time to resolve since we had to spend the sessions explaining things to the onboarding person that they hadn’t understood or that were misconfigured... So, our feeling throughout the entire process was that we weren’t making progress, and we had the urgency to move forward quickly because our system forced us to accelerate the process. In such short sessions (only 45 minutes), there’s no time for anything.
Zero understanding of our needs. As I said, we decided to redo the configuration on our own, and we had to figure out a lot of things by ourselves, without any help, since we only have the AI chat and access to support email. We knew from the start that our concept was somewhat complex, given the variety of services included for members, but we feel that the onboarding person never took the time to truly understand what our business needed and what we wanted. She just said yes to everything, and then when we saw the system and started to understand it, we realized she hadn’t understood what we wanted and left us with a system that wasn’t what we wanted. We had to keep some things that we would have preferred differently because otherwise we would have faced even greater consequences....
Finally, too many points of contact. We found it complicated having to deal with so many people all the time, without a single point of contact who could truly guide us through the process. One person for the custom app, one person for the payment gateway, one salesperson, one onboarding specialist, two CSMs—one for the custom app and another for the marketing suite... And the sessions were always short, during which we never understood what we were supposed to prepare for the session or what we expected from Mindbody’s representatives, so we found ourselves having to improvise questions during the sessions just to get something out of them...

It's a SH/T SHOW.
Other than the everyday glitches, extremely difficult and very poor integration system. I signed on a MB expecting an accessible platform (NOT), that could fit our needs, and having a staff being available to follow through customer service (they will charge for answering anything not reviewed in the first training). This is basically a HOSTAGE situation.
I feel extremely frustrated with the situation. We had explained MULTIPLE times that we gave it a try for 1 year 4 months....it is not working for us. All the issues and glitches with the platform, along with the fact that I’m not being given the proper attention and credibility, that´s unacceptable. They are missing the whole point of customer service. The fact that they are willing to take my money (8 months) speaks a lot about their values as a company. I find this very unprofessional, and it’s been a disappointing experience with the Mindbody team overall.
