My daughter is loving her lessons and is coming on leaps and bounds. She has a really busy schedule so her lessons are on different days of the week and at different times and her instructor is flexible and works around around her timetable. Also the app is superb im able to keep track of what shes done and where she has been on her lessons. I am also able to top her account up with more driving lessons, speak to her instructor directly if i need to and also my daughter is able to practice her theory questions using the app and the app also provides helpful tips to help her driving which is enabling her to become more confident as a driver.

I cannot fault this app. It is fantastic. I had my first lesson today and all my progress is on there. It is easy to contact them and they are very responsive and helpful. There are extras on there to help with passing your test, what to expect on your lessons etc. I'm glad I have used this. I would recommend.

Learning to drive with Midrive could not have gone any smoother. The team has always been helpful and my instructor, Ahmed, has the most relaxed personality when it comes to getting you down the road in a safe way. Could even make the most anxious person feel comfortable behind the wheel!

Passed my test yesterday with 0 faults and I owe it all to Ahmed and Midrive. It was the positive reviews that took me there in the first place so if I had to do it all again I would definitely go with Midrive once more!

Midrive is a easy way to get hold of an instructor and start lessons fast. Communication with your instructor is simple. I enjoy how you are able to add hours wether it be 1 and 20 hours after your original purchase. It’s perfect as it allows you to never spend more then you need to. All in all it’s a cost effective way of learning

I have had an extremely positive experience using Midrive and I would highly recommend this service to first time learners or people who are looking to get back into driving.

Very Simple to Get Started:
Within 3 hours of the account activation, I had been assigned an instructor and already had the first contact with him to discuss details of my first lesson which took place 3 days after the initial conversation.

Great Theory Test Training:
The Midrive app has a great theory test training section which you can practice entire theory assessments in different categories. The questions match those of the official DVSA app from the play store. So, if you are with Midrive, you don’t need to pay for the DVSA app, although the Midrive app doesn’t contain Hazard Perception training.

The Training Instructor:
I can only speak regarding the instructor I’ve been working with. He has a very positive attitude and is very accommodating. Weeknights, I get picked up after work and dropped at home, with weekends travelling to and from my house. His teaching methods are calm, patient and clearly focused on making me test ready.

Progression Tracking:
The instructor likes to discuss my progress after every lesson and get my own feedback on how it went. The instructor logs their individual feedback to the app, so I can track my own progression. The app makes it easy to manage upcoming and previous lessons and is easy to obtain extra lessons if required.
Note: Sometimes the app can be a little glitchy with some features such as calendar syncing not always working, however, you can contact the support team directly through the app get a very quick response.

The Cost:
Midrive certainly isn’t the most expensive driving school around Manchester. With the quality of service and how easy it has fit around my working and social life and with the additional theory, it is definitely worth the money.

I’m having the best time learning to drive ..I turned 50 this year & it’s taken me 33 yrs to pluck the courage to learn to drive ..my instructor is excellent at his job & makes you feel calm & relax while on a lesson and has given me so much confidence to get behind the wheel ..very impressed by it all .and would definitely highly recommend..

I bought this service for my daughter. The first batch of lessons went well so I decided to purchase another 10. Since then my daughter has been struggling to get hold of the driving instructor!

Midrive is a revelation. The website and app are well laid out, easy to use and take the hassle out of finding a driving instructor. Good value for money too. Communication is great and the site contains lots of other useful information and services. Highly recommended.

My first lesson was not so great (bear with coz it gets good!)... my 1st instructor mumbled and although he knew his stuff he stressed me out quite a lot in my first ever lesson, we spent 40 mins of the 2 hour class driving to an ‘appropriate area’ and he would raise his voice and get very annoyed if I stalled (pretty common for a beginner!). I changed instructors (MiDrive wouldn’t reimburse the first lesson which I still disagree with) but I wanted to finish my remaining 3 hours and planned to change company after that...
My second instructor was a star! He was so calm and gave detailed explanations for ever action, he’d constantly remind me of each ‘routine’ before a manoeuvre so it became second nature. He’d get me on main roads before I felt I was ready but kept so calm and gave me good instructions that I left feeling I had achieved so much more than I thought I was capable of .. and I remained so calm and in complete control! He also drove to an appropriate location just 5 mins from my house so I didn’t waste any time... and I drove back to drop myself off!

So in all, I’d recommend the school, their app is great and booking in lessons is so easy. Instructors are just humans, like friends you just have to find the one that comunicates and supports you and your learning the best and I don’t think the school can necessarily control that - but they do control that you aren’t charged to change!

Had a great experience with MI Drive. Instructor always pushed me and ensured I learnt everything in the quickest possible Everything was explained in a clear and calm manner which ensured that I felt safe and confident whilst learning. I'd recommend MiDrive to any new learners.

I gave up learning to drive over 10 years ago due to a bad experience but decided to give it one last shot. After lots of research I settled on Midrive and I am so glad I did. My instructor is great...patient, understanding and builds confidence in a very subtle way. I never feel as if I am being 'told off'. I love the apps that are available and if you need to chat to someone online they are always there to help.
I would certainly recommend Midrive to anyone who wants to learn to drive
