There was a problem with one of the boards delivered but thank you Joe for sorting this promptly ( I received a replacement within a day , just in time for the carpenter )
The boards look good quality .

Made an order for primed skirting and dado rail. Everything is exactly as ordered and it arrived in good time. Excellent communication, fast and polite email responses. Will soon be making an order again from here

I ordered a section of oak skirting as a test section for a customer but unfortunately there was a 27cm long split on one end and therefore decided not to show this to the customer as she wanted to see a full three metre long section - I don’t believe the skirting board was dispatched in this condition as the split was very obvious, so I would suggest damage was cause during transportation - the skirting board had good protection, but we all know what couriers do! I reported this to Metres Direct (with photo evidence) and immediately Joe said that he would sort the problem - I’m now in receipt of a replacement section with no damage. The hallmark of a good company is how well they respond to a problem, and Joe of MD responded very quickly. Thank you.

I always view businesses performance on how they handle things if there is an error or things go wrongly! There was an issue with delivery which I believe was the couriers fault and not Metres Direct Ltd. However, their sales manager Joseph Phillips was brilliant and offered an amicable solution extremely quickly after initially raising the issue. This is a company I would 100% recommend and use again!

Although I only use this company occasionally the service and communication is excellent. I usually have to match old skirting etc for repair and replacement and on the last occasion I asked for some advice via email and the reply was swift and perfect for what I required leaving my own client extremely happy. This is now my first choice when I need skirting etc.

I found these guys online after a google search. I also read the other five star reviews on Trustpilot. Delivery was spot on and communication was good. Now the skirting boards are on it's all looking good.

Metres Direct are by far the best priced and customer service. Will always use them for all projects.

I placed an emergency online order for 70m of of 20mm/170mm regency ogee pine skirting and 13 20mm/95mm regency ogee architraves on Thursday. Company called me straight away to say delivery would be Friday. Upon realising it was a very urgent order (in the middle of a house reno!) Joseph said he could get it ran and out for Monday with a courier. I just received delivery and even my joiner was extremely impressed with the quality and delivery! Cannot recommend Meters direct enough, customer care is second to none, communication is excellent, quality of materials is fantastic and the effort put into getting the order out was incredible. I will be sending everyone I know to Meters Direct - think even my joiner is changing supplier!

Just emailed to ask for an update on my order and got a call with an update literally within seconds. Not actually received my product yet so can't comment on the quality of that etc but the review here is based on customer service / response time which was really very good.

Helpful Team at Metres Direct. I needed a small amount of Square Edged Grooved Skirting to match existing skirting on a job, I could see their standard design would not match. One quick phone call to Metres Direct on the Monday and my problem was resolved, they machined up the matching design, it was despatched on the Friday, we were fitting it the following Monday. Metres Direct could not have been more helpful and kept to their promised schedule, I feel worthy of this review.

Surprisingly, despite being part of the UK, not many companies deliver their products to Northern Ireland - Metres Direct do!!
The skirting is a quality product and exactly what I was looking for.
Regardless of what part of the UK you live in I can thoroughly recommend MD.

Reasonably well priced, and fairly prompt delivery. However quality of MDF Torus Primed Skirting Board, was lower than expected. The priming is blotchy, and the profile is not as per one of their pictures. (the top up-stand is 2.5/3mm by 12mm).

Metres Direct have responded quickly to my concerns, and phoned me directly.

After discussion with Meres Direct, they explained that the priming process can be temperature dependant, and on this occasion may have been to blame. They also offered a refund.

Based of how responsive they were and their concerned approach, I have raised their rating to 4 star.

I bought some Edwardian architrave to match the originals in my flat which I couldn't find anywhere else. Joe was very helpful at every step of the process and I am very pleased with the end result. It looks great. Thanks for all your help Joe :)

What a pleasant surprise the website was so easy for this 80+year old to negotiate, and having now had some conversations with Joe to sort out my exact requirements the order is despatched and delivered just as promised. A real pleasure to do business with a super efficient company will certainly be doing some more with them when the opportunity arises.

Excellent products and service. I've ordered skirting and architrave for the whole house and it looks great. Always delivered on time and customer service is brilliant, really accommodating and gets issues (caused by me!) sorted fast.
