Quick return phone calls, the Dr reads your notes and has follow up questions, doesn’t rush you through your phone call. Asks enough questions to get all the details needed to make a judgement. Quick and instant scripts to your phone. Follow up phone call from a Nurse (Angela) to make sure you’re ok and if you need more assistance. Attentive, caring and thorough.

It is very convenient and quick. I live on a farm so it’s so easy to have a consult over the phone. I much prefer talking to a doctor than searching on Google.

I recently reached out to Medmate for my first time to make an appointment with a doctor for a consultation. They were quick in response time for the call, efficient and kept me updated with the progress of the appointment and outcome details. Highly recommend Medmate and will definitely use again.

Highly recommend! Easy online registration and once payment is through, they advise a doctor will call you within the hour. In fact a doctor called within 15 mins. They text along the way so you know exactly how long it will be so you are ready to take the call. I had a female issue and the male doctor was easy to speak to and gave great advice. Very patient and answered all my questions. Script was sent immediately. Emmi, the nurse called to follow up. Lovely and very caring. Wanted to know if my issue was getting better, which it was. She advised to call them if my issue was not resolving. She also offered a discount voucher for next time I use the service. Overall, the service is easy to use, staff are to be commended for their customer service and more so Emmi for her caring follow up. I felt very special. Truly appreciated and will definitely use again. Consultations fees are only slightly higher than your regular GP. It is money well worth spent especially when you can’t see your regular GP. AAA Service!!!

Thought it was worth giving a shout-out to this medical group, given I had previously had a poor experience with one its competitors last year.

I have used Medmate on two occasions now - once for myself, and once for my child. Both times, I received prompt attention (phone call within 30-60 minutes) for a relatively modest fee ($35). Both times, the doctor spent quite a bit of time ascertaining symptoms and providing general advice, and on both occasions prescriptions were provided. The doctors were compassionate and perhaps even more importantly, given it’s not a face-to-face service, very articulate and able to explain things clearly and in layperson’s language.

Also excellent: it’s easy to set up the appointment, and there’s no needless pages of forms to fill out beforehand. It’s all discussed in the phone call itself. (Contrast to my previous experience with a competitor, where I had to fill out extensive forms beforehand, and to play a fee, only to wait hours for a call, and then when it occurred, to be told that they wouldn’t assist…).

I would recommend Medmate.

As an international backpacker this saved me!! I got the appointment and prescription I needed in less than 1h. Very good service and useful tips. Could not recommend enough. Especially given the price.
