During the whole process, all involved were very communicative, transparent and helpful with any concerns and with guidance. The only issues we had were delays when awaiting callbacks or responses. This had no impact on resolution, other than the duration of it.

I have to call several times to make the process. It took a month to get approval, and another month to fix the damage. Finally everything is done and looks good.
Responses were prompt from our second adjuster. She would provide great work as a mediator between us and the restoration company to address questions or concerns on our end. Our only suggestion going forward would be to better vet the selected vendor as our experience with them (Paul Davis) fell way below expectations. The project was delayed greatly (close to 9 months on a 3 month estimation) and the scheduled work had huge time gaps. The quality of work was well below par thus contributing to the delay to completion. Contractors were all outsourced and did not speak our language which further made the issues more difficult to address.

Very disappointing experience with Max Insurance and Bradley
I used an insurance agent to arrange coverage for my home and, to my surprise, I didn’t even realize my policy was with Max Insurance until my basement flooded. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the worst insurance experiences I’ve ever had.
The response from Max Insurance was extremely slow, with constant delays and conflicting explanations. During this time, my young children and I were left for an entire weekend in the middle of a very cold winter without heating or hot water after the flooding. It was an incredibly stressful and unsafe situation.
I tried calling Bradley repeatedly for assistance and guidance, but he was almost always unavailable. When I did manage to reach out, there was absolutely no empathy or sense of urgency shown, despite the seriousness of the situation and the fact that children were involved.
Overall, this experience left me feeling unsupported, unheard, and extremely disappointed. I would not recommend Max Insurance based on the lack of responsiveness, compassion, and effective support during a real emergency.
I want to update this review because after posting it, Mike (or Mark – I apologize if I have the name slightly wrong), who identified himself as the President of Claims at Max Insurance, personally reached out to me after seeing my review. He took the time to listen to my concerns and worked with me to make some changes and address the situation.
I appreciate that someone at a senior level took the initiative to contact me and help resolve the matter. Because of that effort, I’m updating my review to reflect that the company did follow up and make improvements to the situation. Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns

The incident occurred at the end of June. As of mid-December, the repair and claim remain incomplete. Communication from the insurer was terrible and has been unresponsive and often unhelpful. Despite an auto-reply promising responses within two business days, replies typically arrived 10+ days later, if at all, and rarely addressed our questions.
Our adjuster appeared overwhelmed and confused: we sometime received emails intended for other claimants, and our concerns and questions were repeatedly ignored or unanswered. The restoration company reflected similar issues. While their coordinator (who just appeared recently) was reasonably responsive, the project manager and field team were disorganized, and essentially missed the agreed commencement date, and failed to meet the promised completion date. Because of these lapses and poor communication, our tenant had to move out again. The adjuster has not kept us informed about payment issuance, amounts, or what to expect next. We’re left uncertain about timelines, approvals, and when funds will be released - very stressful process.
Requested improvements:
• Enforce firm start and completion dates with a written schedule and weekly status updates.
• Hold the adjuster accountable for timely, accurate communication (acknowledge within 2 business days, provide meaningful answers).
• Coordinate the restoration vendor to meet dates and communicate any changes before they impact occupants.
• Provide clear payment updates (issue dates, amounts, and remaining steps).
From the very first phone call the representatives at Max Insurance have been courteous and super responsive. They have taken an experience that you would normally expect to be very stressful and made it as hassle free as possible with their professionalism and calm reassurance.
