I had a very positive experience at Mavis Tire in Southampton. One of my tires had been losing air, and after searching for a shop open on a Sunday, I was glad to find them available. The person at the counter was courteous and friendly, and my tire was repaired in a very timely manner. I truly appreciated the quick, professional service and would highly recommend this shop.

i would not recommend going there. go to town fair or anywhere else. i’ve had to go and have every tire bead resealed and rebalanced. they also declined working on my truck because i have wheel spacers after i called and told them i bought the tires less than a month ago and 2 of them were leaking air. they told me they couldn’t fix them because i have spacers. so i went to town fair tire and they fixed my issue in less than an hour with 0 hassle. i paid 1600$ and they can’t even take care of me. will never go back to mavis tire in salem nh.

Brian, Joesph, Ken, and Willy were absolutely awesome. I was a walk in at 11 am, with a slow leaking tire, they were so busy, but said if I could leave car, they would work it in and get it done before end of the day. They called me at 2 pm and my tire / car was ready for pickup. I’m forever grateful. They even gave me a discount on my service. We’ve bought tires from them twice before and they have always been this great !!!!

I’ve been a loyal customer, but after this experience, Mavis Tire has lost a reliable customer.
I had a 9:00 AM appointment on April 25, 2026 for a state inspection and oil change. When I arrived, the front desk said they were “a little behind,” which I understood. However, my vehicle didn’t even get into the shop until around 9:30 AM, and what should have been a routine service wasn’t completed until 11:34 AM.
At 11:15 AM, when my car was pulled out, I asked if they had reset the inspection light on my dashboard, only to be told no one had done it, and they had to find someone who knew how to reset it. That caused even more delay.
The worst part was getting into my car and finding grease all over the driver’s door, passenger seat, and armrest. This is the second time I’ve had my car returned with grease all over the interior, which is unacceptable.
If you’re pressed for time, have an appointment, or care about your vehicle being returned clean, I do not recommend this garage. Poor time management, lack of attention to detail, and repeated issues with leaving grease inside customers’ vehicles have made me take my business elsewhere.

I had a very disappointing experience with Mavis Tire on St. George Ave in Rahway. I purchased tires from them with the expectation that the warranty they sold me would actually be honored if something went wrong. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case at all.
When I brought my vehicle back in for an issue that should have clearly been covered under the warranty, I was told I still had to pay for labor. That completely defeats the purpose of paying extra for coverage in the first place. A warranty should provide peace of mind—not surprise charges and fine-print loopholes.
What made the situation worse was dealing with their corporate office. Instead of resolving the issue or standing behind their service, they were just as unhelpful and seemed more interested in collecting additional money than honoring their commitments to customers.
Overall, this experience felt misleading and frustrating. If you’re considering buying tires here, I strongly recommend thinking twice. A warranty that doesn’t actually protect you isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. Stay away if you expect honest service and accountability.
