I’ll try a different brand.

Do you seriously lack the imagination to make different packaging? Everything looks the same – doesn’t matter what kind of adhesive it is, it’s nearly impossible to tell. I can read, but clearly not everyone can – even shop staff hand out the wrong product. Blue and white – who cares what tiny print is on it?
I wasted an entire day trying to tile with this “fast-setting”. It drips like snot, tiles slide all over the place, and the stuff hardens in the bucket before I can even cut half a tile.
You really need to think about more distinctive packaging. Whether these adhesives will actually hold – we’ll see. I’m trying another brand tomorrow.

The product presentation appears influenced by the seller’s intent to maximize sales. In practice, the product performs at around a 2.5 out of 5 level. Rapid Set adhesive is not suitable for wall tiles, contrary to what the seller suggests. Technically, the adhesive does set, but in practice, there is a high risk of poor results — including damage to the wall and wasted effort.

The adhesive is heavy and dense, and it tends to slump faster than it sets. It also provides limited initial grab. As a result, there is a high probability (around 95%) that the upper portion of the adhesive will slide downward, creating voids near the top. Since walls are often not perfectly flat, Rapid Set should only be used after carefully assessing the surface and conditions. It is more appropriate for floors or similar applications.

I have no complaints about Keraflex Maxi S1. It behaves similarly to lime-based plaster when cleaning tools, which is consistent with flexible (S1) adhesives. It performs adequately outdoors, even in damp conditions, but again — application context matters.

This manufacturer appears focused primarily on selling the product.
If tiles are falling off bathroom walls, in 99% of cases, the issue is not with the adhesive.

Mapei Kerapoxy has very limited applications

Mapei Kerapoxy seems to only be OK for flat Joints. Separates from corners. After researching online and reading the material for Mapei's Kerapoxy i decided to use if on the porcelain counter i made for my outdoor kitchen. within a week the grout had separated from the tile. After contacting Mapei I was told the grout is not suitable for corners. Only flat joints. After that the rep tried to say i also used the wrong float to full the joints. So which is it. the grout isn't suitable for corners because it shrinks or i used the wrong float. Basically, the product isn't good.

Mapei does a terrible job of marketing…

Mapei does a terrible job of marketing their products. I am simply trying to find a place to purchase their "Mapecoat Deck T" coating, but the places listed in the "where to buy" section on their website, don't actually sell it. When I called customer service, they gave me the local sales rep. for assistance. He took 2 days to give me a contact at a store that supposedly could order this for me. When I talked to this guy, he said he never heard of the stuff, and that none of his distributors had it in stock. Okay, I give up. I saw good reviews of the product, but I am tired of chasing people down to try to buy/order this!

I want to raise my concerns about how…

I want to raise my concerns about how Mapei (roofing products, polyglass) warranties are handed out by builders who are not qualified or experienced. These warranties are certified by Mapei, implicating the warranty is for the installation and product, which is incorrect. When I approached Mapei they were not interested. This means anyone can paint on this product and request Mapei to pass a certified warranty. We had two new roofs which were certified by Mapei, both leaked within two years. How do Mapei vet their installers or do they just certify anyone who can paint on their polyglass?

I used the Flexcolor and the 3D grout

I used the Flexcolor and the 3D grout. The Flexcolor was fantastic! I am a novice grouter and it went on easily, easy cleanup and looks great! 5 star.
I also used the 3D grout and it looks very good, Be warned, you should let a professional apply this. And even then, you should put down tape along the edges of the grout. It dries super quick and it is massively difficult to remove excess. Perhaps the grout remover I used (recommended by Mapei) was not up to the task. I even used coarse sandpaper at one point. I used a concoction I made up ( a good way to die) along with paint scrapers. It is slowly coming up. I thought I'd have to retile for a second there. I really like the sky blue color.

Two tubs from different shop

I bought a tub of this Mapie waterproof grout adhesive from toolstation as I was putting a mosaic boarder in my bathroom it was a nice nice thick quality unfortunately I ran out needed some more I went to screwfix (which is closer to me) to purchase the second tub it is definitely a different quality appeared thinner and oozed out the tiles looking quite watery I’d read other reviews and I can only imagine it’s the newer tub not as good the one I bought first was an earlier date on the tub lids are different whether it’s the newer version is certainly not as good a quality, so glad I used the first one to do the bath shower area

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I had a very large kitchen and dining room to grout. The client insisted on a harder wearing grout than then usual plaster grout. The Mapei Kerapoxy Grout instructions were minimal and it was not until later we realised that it took FOUR DAYS for this grout to FULLY CURE! The client complained daily that even after 2 days it was soft and dirt was sticking to it. Even after FOUR DAYS we could still indent it with a finger nail. That period may be OK in an empty new build but in a working kitchen, 4 days is impossible! After over a full week it finally set and we went back and cleaned it up with a fine sand paper. A full day wasted. NEVER AGAIN! We were so relieved that the client was very understanding.

Tile Adhesive and Grout both very poor.

I bought both the ready-mixed tile adhesive and white tile grout from B&Q to try them out as the prices were really good compared to the competitors. WHAT A MISTAKE! I will NEVER use these products or any other products by this brand again!!

- The tile adhesive initially seemed easy to use, didn't dry out and wasn't messy, however, after two days up, two tiles fell off the wall after a small nock to them (before being grouted). The adhesive was grainy and brittle underneath, coming off both the tile and the wall easily. I then grouted a wall and so far no more have fallen off (I suspect the grout is holding them together).
- I had issues with the grout, too. It was meant to be white - there was no brilliant white option. The white was, however, off-white, noticeable against a pure white tile. The stuff stayed useable for a decent length of time while in a tub, mixed ( I used the powdered stuff, to mix myself), but the moment I applied it to the tiles it started going off and I had around 30 seconds to finish the area grouted or the grout becomes unmanageable, brittle and cracks. This slows down tiling considerably as only very small areas can be done at a time and the remainder in the tub starts to go off due to the time taken finishing such small areas at a time. The texture ain't so good either, being quite grainy.

I recommend that this product NOT be used for anything other than very small, light duty jobs. The price is good, but I will go back to Evo-Stick as it's products are by far, superior. I've used some other non-market leader brands before with varying success, but none of them as poorly performing as this Mapei.
