Shocking service – expensive baby products ordered, wrong item sent, no help, no refund!
I ordered three products for a newborn, suitable from day one. These items were not cheap and were carefully selected. When the package arrived, I was shocked to find that one of the boxes contained a completely different product – something I never ordered.
I contacted customer service immediately, but no one has replied to any of my emails, and their phone line is dead. There has been zero communication, no apology, no solution – nothing.
I’m now left without the correct product and without my money, despite their mistake.
This is completely unacceptable and feels like theft.
Do not trust this company – if anything goes wrong, you’re on your own.
I will never order from makeup.uk again, and I strongly advise others to stay away.

Great communication, I ordered on one day, next day I received confirmation my order was packed, the day after that it was shipped and I received it before the dates mentioned in the emails! They estimated 16-18 June but it was delivered to me on 14 June. All the products were packed properly, hair shampoo even had an extra protection tape on it to make sure it doesn't leak. I'll definitely buy again ☺️

Decent Company - delivered on time.
I placed my first order with Makeup.uk last week for a birthday gift. The website says 3-4 days delivery from dispatch, so I added a note to my order to say that it was for a birthday to try to make sure they post it quickly. I got an email straight back to say that the order would be shipped from Poland and it may take a few days longer due to customs delays.
It was promising to receive a response although with the .uk website, I didn't realise I was buying from abroad, which was a bit disappointing (It is in the About Us section, so can be found with a bit of checking). I didn't cancel as it I'd left it too late to find another store in any case.
The order (complete and in great condition) did arrive within 4 days, so they must have dispatched straight away. I can't fault them as they were honest about potential delivery issues (which are out of their control of course) and managed to get it to me on time.

Two parcels have been damaged and not delivered, they are for the same order. It feels like they think they are not responsible for our order not being delivered. I bought a Burberry perfume from here for the first time. It arrived in the post with a polish receipt and the product is 100% fake. It does not smell the same and it does not last anywhere more than 1 hour on the skin. They are selling fake products. Absolutely scammers, do not trust them. Fake polish shop!!!!!

HORRIFIC website and customer service- DO NOT USE! I ordered the ghd photographed only to be sent a completely different product. It was very difficult to get a straight response from the customer service team and when I did they just went ahead and organised UPS pick up of the incorrect product without telling me if I will be supplied with the correct product or reimbursed. Turns out the website is falsely advertising a product that they do not have.
Very unimpressed and disappointed.
I only gave one start because you have to give something to move ahead to the comment section- actually would give 0!

No problems
Was a bit concerned about shopping here because of the reviews but figured as it's not a UK based company they probably don't ask for reviews after every order (which I now know they don't). It's the only place I can order my favourite moisturising serum from, and I have now placed 4 or 5 orders with them over a longer period of time - each one has been shipped within a couple of days and delivered quickly, no issues at all so far.

Don't order, take no responsibility for their orders
I could give them zero rating... I've had previous orders from them with np issues until now. Customer Service, or the person who signs "manager" has no idea how to talk to people. They addited carrier advised my parcel has been stopped due to its damage, and now I have to wait for them to confirm next steps. I paid for products which I haven't received, haven't damaged goods either and so called "manager" thinks it's OK to keep their customers in dark- we let you know when we have further details from evri. Wow, what a disappointment

Quasi-fraudulent refund policy. They will do everything they can to not refund you. Products past expiry date and opened on arrival. Suggest not using these guys

Always slow delivery
I've ordered here a few times before and the products were ok, but I always forget how long you have to wait for an order from this shop. In other stores 3-4 days is the maximum, here it takes them at least a week to complete the order, then a few more days to ship it. If you're lucky you'll get it in two weeks. That's really rare these days. Have to remember that when ordering.
