Dishonest sales practices
I had a very disappointing experience with Makarov Shop.
I purchased the Niimbot B18 label printer through the Bol.com
Instead, I received a completely different and cheaper printer model that is absolutely not an equivalent replacement for the product I paid for.
Then, within a very short time, the price of the original B18 suddenly increased. At the same time, I was not given the possibility to simply exchange the incorrect printer for the actual B18 I originally ordered.
I then wanted to return the incorrect item and order the B18 again, but within one or two days the product disappeared completely from sale.
At that point I assumed maybe they had simply sold the last remaining stock and later discovered they no longer had this model available, especially since the manufacturer itself no longer actively sells the B18 and replaced it with the newer N1 series.
However, now I see the exact same B18 model listed for sale again by the same seller, even at a higher price than before, despite the fact that both the manufacturer and Makarov Shop’s own website show this model as sold out and unavailable.
This creates a very strong impression of misleading marketing and misleading sales practices. It feels as if products are being advertised despite not actually being available, while customers may again receive different and cheaper models instead.
The most frustrating part is that buyers often cannot publicly share detailed negative experiences about these situations, meaning other customers remain unaware of what may actually happen after ordering.
Overall this situation caused unnecessary stress, irritation, wasted time, return procedures and a complete loss of trust in this seller.
I do not recommend
