Top Notch Service
My contacts with Mainstar employees has always been top notch. They are very service oriented and have repeatedly gone the extra mile to meet my needs. Recently, I needed to complete some transactions before the end of the tax year. My contact Jo Boswell was able to work on my requests at high priority and complete them within a 24 hour turnaround time to more than meet the deadlines. Worst Trust Company Ever
The worst investment company ever. They are the trust for my Inland account and controls distribution. I am nearly 67 yrs old and cannot get all my money out of this 7 yr old IRA account. I'm told I can only get 80% distributed quarterly in small amounts. That makes no sense at all. All I want is 100% of my funds that I've worked hard work for and need in retirement now but cannot get. If anyone can help me with this I will truly appreciate it.

Thank you for your feedback. As a Custodian, we provide recordkeeping/tax reporting information. We are not allowed to provide any type of investment advice from a regulatory standpoint. We are not involved in selling investments, just to provide custody services. Asset sometimes are illiquid and then as Custodian we are limited to what the asset company will allow.
Worthless Website
Their website is the worst I have ever seen. Investment transactions are not updated. It appears the website was built in 1990s. Website support is nonexistent. I moved my investments because it was so poorly designed.
Please see response from MainStar bellow. It took them almost 4 months to reply. I rest my case!

It took 3 months to get the shares transferred from my husband's account once he passed away to my account. Seems like an awfully long time for just a transfer.
