This was my first time using Magnitude Finance as I usually go with the dealership finance offer, however my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very first enquiry through to completion of my finance deal the service I received from Henry in the Leeds branch has been perfect. Very professional, quick informative responses meant I was never in any doubt as to where the deal was up to. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back to Magnitude again….greatly appreciate it.

Great service all round. App is very user friendly and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Tom and Chloe were brilliant, I needed my loan application turned round quickly and they did everything they could and got the loan through on time. Very very impressed.

I had a fantastic experience with Magnitude Finance from start to finish. The whole process was smooth, professional, and far less stressful than I was expecting. A big shoutout to Conagh, who was incredibly helpful throughout - he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident at every step.

It’s rare to come across someone so approachable and genuinely dedicated to helping customers, Conagh really stood out. His friendly attitude, and attention to detail made a huge difference.

I approached Magnitude Finance directly after a friend had recently had a brilliant service from them in the confidence I would also receive the same. Unfortunately, I wasn’t lucky enough to have the same experience.

I spoke with Amber on the sales team regarding my dream Audi RS6 at a dealer we initially had some reservations with.

Upon discussing our concerns with Amber regarding the dealer, we were assured that the supplying dealer was fully vetted with many successful deals being completed therefore our concern was no more.

We did the finance application which was a quick and easy process to be fair being quickly accepted with the deal in place pending a viewing of the vehicle.

We then spent the morning travelling to the dealership, test driving the vehicle, reviewing its service history and ultimately, falling in love with a dream family car which we have worked very hard to be able to achieve.

We spoke with Amber and advised we were happy with the vehicle and that she would request an invoice from the dealer with a view to collecting the vehicle the following week.

I went away, insured the vehicle, arranged the vehicle to have a ghost immobiliser fitted and taking the morning off work to collect the car.

Two hours before we due to collect the car, Amber called us to state that the supplying dealer was on their DO NOT DEAL list and that they would be unwinding the deal as the actual finance company won’t pay the dealer.

This came at a huge surprise given we were assured that there were no concerns with the dealer on the first call.

After realising our dream car was essentially being taken away after the time and effort involved also including a hard search on my credit profile, Amber then call me back adding that Close Brothers remain happy to deal with the dealer therefore she would try and get the deal over the line further building us back up for what is now a failure and unfair.

We spoke with Close Brothers ourselves who had no record of any disputes and had raised the payment for the vehicle the previous day. No notes were on our file regarding any conversations with Magnitude regarding concerns or unwinding the deal. They were happy to proceed.

At this point, we carried out a HPI check on the vehicle and the finance agreement was live and recorded against the vehicle.

Amber then called back advising us that the dealer remains on their DO NOT DEAL list and that they would be unwinding the deal.

We feel we have been lied to with Magnitude blaming Close Brothers when it was themselves who messed up, invested time and money viewing the car, paid a deposit, insured the car and took time off work for collection. The worst part is that our dream has essentially been taken away in the short term with my credit profile adversely affected due to the incompetence of Amber and Magnitude.

To rub salt in the wound, we later received an email from Close Brothers welcoming us and wishing that we are enjoying our new car!!

We suspect that Magnitude have the finance payment and have decided not to deal with the dealer which is understandable if they have had a previous unfortunate case with a failed deal however they were explicitly asked on the first call if there were any concerns.

This car was our wedding car for our wedding in two weeks time. It’s a huge disappointment for a company well regarded in the sector.

I unfortunately couldn’t recommend them to anyone as they have built up our dream on two occasions which have been dashed as they didn’t check their DO NOT DEAL list until they were due to send the funds to the dealer.

You should certainly avoid using them unless they can do the basics correctly. Amber should have simply checked before causing us this stress and dashing our dreams of obtaining a vehicle to this level which we have worked our socks off to achieve.
